Hi, I loved ur vid! I'm deciding on which residence hall I should sign up for as a freshman majoring in bio (or maybe chemical engineering). isn't Portola dining hall very far from your residence hall? How long do you have to walk from ur residence hall to bio buildings?

I’m glad you enjoyed the video!! Unfortunately the science buildings are the furthest on campus. And if you stay at FT then the bike ride could be 10-15 min everyday (i had to do that and it was horrendous sometimes especially when it rained). But FT was a nice dorm. Portola is right next to the dorm. Enjoy UCSB :)

Hi, I just got accepted to UCSB, and I am so excited to attend UCSB! I was wondering if is it possible to change my major easily from bio to chemistry. Also, do you think maintaining high GPA as a biology major is challenging for you? My goal is to maintain above 3.7.

Congrats!! You’ll love your experience!! I know I did. It’ll be doable to switch from bio to chem because they’re both in the college of science. Also i believe if you put your mind to a high gpa then itll be attainable :) Good luck!

I have used my ipad for drawing and taking notes to save paper. And i use my Mac to type essays and reports. Hope that helps!
