Hi, I'm constructing a water collection and treatment system. I set up a mixed sand and pea gravel test column where I mixed both together in various ratios instead of layering them so that the filtration rate is not determined by the slowest sand layer alone. I'm timing the flow through rate of different ratios to find an optimum mix.

Title: "Rivers of Change: Building Equity Through Community Empowerment" In a bustling town nestled among rolling hills, a transformative project was underway: the construction of a grand aqueduct to revitalize the community's water supply. As whispers of change echoed through the streets, a group of forward-thinking individuals championed the construction of a new aqueduct. For too long, the community had suffered from water shortages and inequitable distribution, as powerful interests siphoned off resources for their own gain. Determined to rectify this injustice, the group set out to construct a network of channels and reservoirs, redirecting water to where it was most needed. With each stone laid and each trench dug, the community's bond grew stronger, united in their quest for fairness and sustainability. As the project progressed, it became increasingly apparent that water, like money, was essential for survival. Both were vital resources necessary for the health and well-being of individuals and communities alike. Both had the power to sustain life and drive economies. And both required careful stewardship and equitable distribution to ensure that all could thrive. In the end, as the final bricks were laid and the last pipes were installed, the town stood transformed. With the aqueduct as their lifeline and a newfound sense of empowerment as their guide, the community had built a future founded on principles of fairness, resilience, and solidarity. And as they looked to the horizon, they saw not just the dawn of a new era, but the promise of a better world for generations to come.

Hello . Date of seeking an answer to question! Feb 18 2024. 149am 😅 But..... my question , that needs an answer !? Is the treated water bad? If the water fizzles when using hot water only. I filled hot water into a milk container and about 20 seconds later , The water started to bubble up / fizzle up. Why this question?! Well, i went to a water treatment training faclitie ! And i vaguely remember hearing the trainer say ! If water fizzles at anytime of the year! Yiu need to change up the mixture to what is being used!! So its barely in my memeory now. But im seeking confirmation! And what happens when being around this type of water ! For years ??

I took the 15.7 and multiplied it by 7.48 and then multiplied that number by 60 for seconds in a minute. 7,046 gpm. Why do any of the cancelation stuff? It convolutes the entire equation. I thought mathmaticians were always classified as lazy lol

This is quite simple I suppose. After running a TSS sample on a pad at 105C, you ignite the pad at 550C then get the weight. And after calculating the TSS mg/l, divide the smaller number by the larger number to get the % of organic material. Then compare the results of the sludge fed to the digester against the results of the digested sludge that is being fed to your dewatering process. This could be applied to aerobic digestion as well. I think it would be very interesting to run these tests in an effort to try and optimize digestion in order to maximize the potential of volitile sludge reduction.

Thanks helpful, isn’t there another way to do this also, you would get the cubic feet of the whole tank and then plug in the 50000 somehow. I like the way you did though didn’t know it could be done like that.

Okay i understand a lot of whats going on but im curious, how important is pH balance? Does it depend on your polymer? I treat wastewater at a box plant, we have a ton of paint detergents and boiler chemicals in our water, i usually have to get my water around 7.7-8 0 for best results but ive seen it work from 7.0-8.4
