My brother was in this hospital due to a bad car accident in 1974. They did an excellent job saving my brother's life.

Pretty sure the 1st baseman is going to be called for runner interference. This was an amazing play and insane touch on that bunt

In 1973 I was never afraid to be out in the Dallas neighborhoods. Being a female teenager my friends and I would walk from neighborhood to another with no fear.

Wow, I thought they started Old City Park in the 90s or something! This is the year I was born, and I've lived blocks from there for much of the last dozen years. Crazy, man

😆 LOL, I see Chambers Street, IM Terrell, the hill I used to slide down on a 📦. I was only 7 yrs old then. Our parents made ends meet and went with the punches, had to endure many obstacles but we made it out. Only the STRONG survives. 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

Plano kept growing for another 25 years after this story ran, and Plano ISD *did* become one of the region's largest districts, as the superintendent here predicted... they opened at least one new school pretty much every year through the 80s and 90s until around 2000, when growth began to taper off. The last new campus (McMillen High) opened in 2010. Now the district is effectively built out, and four schools built in the 1970s (including Davis Elementary, shown in this report) will be closing down as enrollment starts to decline.

The 70's stylized art on packages was the greatest, most resplendent in history. Saturated with brilliant color and quality. Today, the art is cheaply done, scrunched and abbreviated, looks mass produced with no power. I can smell the lemons on these packages
