This is the saddest anime in have ever watched...and i cried for tsubaki more than kaori...because kousei is all that she ever loved and wanted to be by her side forever and the fact that she hated music as it separates her from him...and in one scene kousei cried that music takes away everything he loves was such an irony...but saddest part is he never loved tsubaki the way she loved him...he never loved the way he loved music...kaori or no kaori...i don't think his feelings had changed And then there's kaori...i think she's selfish...why ? Because she knew tsubaki was in love with kousei but still did all the things that peirced his heart and she messed around with watari thinking he was shallow...honestly he ended up liking her more and when he realized kousei was in love, he was ready to give up his love for him and i would hardly call that shallow... Tsubaki's unrequited love Kaori's death Watari's heart break Kousei's heart break Well at the end of the day, we love who we love and there's no other way But i wished atleast kaori and kousei would end up together...they didn't 🥺 It will hard for me to forget about this anime 🤧

Not gonna lie, I shipped kousei and tsubaki from the very first episode. In fact I thought tsubaki was the female lead, and when Kaori was introduced I was disappointed that she was the female lead. I loved Kaori, and I know kao x kousei is canon, but I feel like it was forced. Kaori was more like someone who motivated him, someone who inspired him and made him stronger (almost like a mentor, like Hiroko) and Tsubaki really loved him ever since they were young. :')
