So happy to discover this video today! It litterally gave me the chills! I know most of these songs (as I started listening to Kpop in 2012 and was digging deep deep into it) and they bring back so many memories from all this periods of my life in this 12 years span. So thank you for your time and your creativity making this video! I especially like that you included covers/videos/insights of what these songs represented when they came out, because with just the current number of views on youtube you can't understand how big some songs/groups were! I was in Korea last year and went to an university concert of Highlight (formerly Beast) and they sang their old songs that I never though I would see live (they used to be my ultimate group), and especially during 'Shock' it was amazing to see all the students singing and screaming the chorus, even though the song came out like 12 years ago when they probably were just somewhere between elementary and middle school for the most of them..... Well that was a long ass ride/ paragraph! However, thank you again, it's an amazing video!! <3

Type in "asking Koreans about dating culture". If you're S. Korean and not dating someone you are the odd person. So why they get so jealous when idols date is beyond me. Korea has a baby and marriage problem yet at the same time dating is no problem at all to the point if you're not dating your friends keep trying to set you up with someone. It really almost made me cry too many times from the nostalgia, and it also helped to introduce some of the new players for the 5th gen! I kinda stopped following halfway thru 4 so I haven't been listening to the boys, ateez, aespa and such, but I'll give the newer ones a try!

2008-2009, when I was in high school, K-pop hadn't yet become mainstream. I recall using my iPod Classic to listen and watch to SNSD, 2NE1, 2PM, Super Junior, TVXQ, Wonder Girls, Big Bang, and FT Island. And let's not forget Kara! I used to play "Pretty Girl" on repeat. I remember that the cute concept was popular back then and my brother teasing me for having a crush on feminine men. Have you even checked Super Junior’s Happiness??? 😂
