What if JŽ Class 62/SR USA Class/USATC S100 Class No. 30075 was appear in Thomas & Friends and then a name would been called Shawn because he would been voiced by Devon Murray, John DiMaggio, Mike Pollock and Danny DeVito in UK and USA Dub of Thomas & Friends and he would been Rosie's Croatian brother and also Shawn would been visitor of North Western Railway with along Lady Nan/Nana

Very happy memories of trips over the moors behind this plucky little tank engine! Thank you for posting this lovely trip. There were occasions we had to stop for a blow up as any mismanagement by the fireman would not be forgiven lightly! I think the engine may have had its Kylchap exhaust modifications at this point in time. The lovely whistle isn’t very GWR either, but a fab touch too!

I never understood why the British never used intake air heaters. These engines were quite high performance, low static compression with high boost. Even in ideal conditions they will idle poorly. (Smoke). Intake air heated up to raise the combustion temperature at start and idle would have made life so much nicer.

It started very well - so no addition aid needed. It was just instantly short of a load.

I'm puzzled: it sounds identical to the Leyland TD1s that I often travelled to school on in Reading in the 1940s, all of which had 6-cylinder Leyland petrol engines. The once I rode on this magnificent Bolton TD1 on an LVVS running day it certainly still had its petrol engine.
