You need an engine mount for billet crankcases, I had to file a few mill off the bottom of get the engine to sit level. I also had to file the rear of the mount to the shape of the fan housing to get holes to line up in the chassis

@@Reaper_Rc I was want to go for the 40t but I’ve been told by others that the 35 is sold platform any more and you’ll be breaking and upgrading more and more. Why leaning towards the reed engine over reg v2? I think I was told the reed wraps out quicker more or less if drag racing?

The dgi 1” wheel extensions w/ the method belted wheel tire combo puts a whole new stance and performance on the ddt. I love the look and handling so much that I did the exact same order for my second one 👍🏼

The Reed engine had more power than the regular engine, I use my losi for bashing and short course so it'll be perfect for me. I looked at the 40cc but like you said it'll just eat my drive train, the 32cc it has now generated enough heat to deform the diff housing. Also the 35cc Reed revs up quicker than the bigger standard engines

@@Reaper_Rc I’m going to do a bit more research but I have also heard that the reed has more power. If that’s the case I might go with the reed also. As I’m just ripping around in parks open spots streets etc no racing at all track as there’s nothing like that around me

I wanted one the minute I laid eyes on it. I does look very similar to the scx, it's shorter than the scx6 but that's probably because of the jeep body. It's also very well spec'd and knowing Rlaarlo it'll be reasonably priced

I'd expect more from a beginner truck though. your trying to sell the hobby to them, it should work perfectly. Did you cure the suspension problem? Mine still sticks quite a bit, even with all spring spacers on

yeah that definitely cured the suspension problem. I also went a bit heavier with shock oil and that helped a bit with bottoming out and flipping over due to weight transfer. I didn't mind because I love to tinker, upgrade, make adjustments, that's one of the things this hobby provides but I agree, with a beginner truck 99% of people aren't going to take the time to optimize the suspension travel like I did. That seems more like a racer mindset. @@Reaper_Rc

It's not the best design tbf, they should of gone the Traxxas route with the quick release tabs

The shocks were disappointing. even with the biggest shock spacers on it just doesn't return

@@Reaper_Rc I'm guessing you wont be the only one with this issue, not mentioning any names but there's another youtuber that ran in2 a couple of issues after what would be considered small jumps in the world of rc
