For anybody that doesn’t know. Tuff actually played the stunt double for his character during the riding scenes

My parents named me after Lane Frost. They were at the rodeo when he died. They said the place erupted when he finished the ride but when he collapsed they said you could hear a pin drop from 100 miles away because it was so quiet. Anybody who hasn’t seen 8 seconds needs to watch it immediately. One of the best movies ever in my opinion

He danced around what he really wanted to say. They took the money while he was for the riders. There…

Sunny, I think I heard you say it was hard for you to tan, take a small bottle of iodine and put it in a medium size baby oil bottle shake to blended, then apply and you will still burn, but you won’t bubble and peel. You will get a good TAN

I know you won't see this, Tuff, but maybe someone will. And I know that I'm a nobody from nowhere, but maybe someday, someone will see my comment and it will help them. My grandfather died a few years back - we got the call to come see him as he was in the hospital and likely wouldn't make it long. We said our goodbyes after making the two hour trip, spending time with family. Prior to leaving, I told my Grandmother "if you have a funeral, I will not be there. I made commitments, and I feel that he would want me to honor them. So, if the funeral is next Saturday, I cannot attend, as I will be fighting." I was in the midst of doing some amateur MMA and had a fight scheduled. Both myself and my opponent had been training and cutting weight for it. There was no funeral, so I didn't missed anything, but sometimes you have to do for bigger than yourself. Tuff - you coulda not got back on a bull, and Lane would have understood. It's not what he would have wanted, but he would have understood.

Tuff, I love your honesty about not considering yourself to be handsome in your younger years. I can identify with you. To date, I know God loves color, and He created me in His image. Through a lot of work of forgiveness, self-hatred, low self-esteem. I have come to a place of self-acceptance and love. I am self-assured, and if people can't accept me because of my physical appearance, then that is their loss. Physically & and spiritually, I am a great person. It doesn't matter what anyone says. Tuff, don't let anyone label you. Remember, God made you, and there is no one like you. You are one of a kind.

Adairs has been one of my favorite bars since 1987ish. There was literally a full year in the early 90s when my friends and I went there every single weekend, both Friday and Saturday night. Lois was such a cool lady. Always sweet to talk to and I loved to see her Porsche parked right outside the back door. She used to stand at the end of the bar, under that picture of her and Elvis. Best HB and CBs. I remember when they added hard liquor and French fries. Also remember when they added live music. That was a big move, back in the day. Still love the place, but haven’t been back in years.

My son used to ride horses with a kid named Lane (now 17, named after Frost) and our son, 16, is named Ty for Ty Herndon and Ty Murray. The only movie we ever watched in our camper at the county and state fairs was 8 seconds. Our son left the horse world for baseball but he misses it and his plan is to be a chiropractor that works with athletes in general and wants to be at rodeos to adjust the cowboys.

Ive said for years that bucking bulls with fully intact horns, should have those horns tipped and probably a soft material somehow glued or attached to the tips.
@ChampagneandWaffles
@ChampagneandWaffles Ай бұрын
From what I understand, it wouldn’t have helped in Lane’s case. The horn didn’t puncture his skin, it was just the force and weight of the animal pushing against his ribs.

Wanna talk about gender equality does she? I have an email to prove that my former band almost lost a gig opening for sunny because she quote “doesn’t like female vocalist to open for her”!? Because she doesn’t want to have to follow real talent? Is that why? Her camp for the most part was cool. She however was a diva and we were literally playing at a dive bar in the middle of Kentucky.

I worked at Lucky Dog when “Hey You” came out. The radio promotions department was just a couple of interns. They definitely didn’t work it the way they were working the more-established artists albums. It’s unfortunate because, It’s still one of my favorite albums of all time and still remember the live shows at Exit/Inn and screaming “Barbie Doll” at the top of our lungs. What a great album!
