平成の大改修で木が伐採されてかなりすっきりしましたが、まだまだ明治以降に植えられた木が邪魔ですね。 明治初期の写真が残っているのだから、分かる範囲、想像出来る範囲で雰囲気の際限をして欲しい。 三の丸広場の整備（元の区画が分かる表示は良い）でも古いソメイヨシノは根本の保護だけのまま。 ソメイヨシノはクローンなので寿命が短く植え替えすべきです。 あと、城内展示も寂しいので、江戸期の武具や文化（正月飾り）など収集して欲しい。 姫路に残っている酒井家は分家でしょうが、パイプを活かして寄贈品を集めても良いと感じる。
