Yeah but see how on the working slide you have multiple text boxes stacked on top of eachother. Can you hide them so you can work on a text box that is underneath without having to move all the text boxes? I have an animation that stacks like 7 boxes on top of eachother and what if I need to edit the text on the first box. Do I just have to drag the other 6 boxes all over my screen then move them all back just to edit the first box?

you need to open HOME > SELECT > SELECTION PANE and from the selection pane you can "disable" or "enable" with the little eye icon which layers should be visible and which hidden. You can that way surface the one you need to make the change on and then make the remaining ones visible again
