Mushoku Tensei is amazing and it just keeps on getting better Season 3 and beyond are so PEAK 🔥 There will be low lows and the highest of highs and it will hurt and it will be hype.

You can't have the highest highs without the lowest lows. Literally. And if you can't understand why that is the case, then you need to grow up and experience more literature because that is life and this is coming from someone who has gone through a lot of what Rudeus has. If you stop at season 2, then you'll be like the person who defines his life by his depression and not by overcoming depression, which is kind of pathetic. So if you think the story is good then put on your big boy pants and watch it. If you don't like the story, then that is your choice not to watch. But never skip a story you like because "it is too much to handle," because it says a lot about you as a person.

true but its not even at its peak yet, a bit of spoiler warning. next season will be the peak of MT story writing but not the most emotional. for me the most emotional moment will most likely be on season 4 (volume 21 on LN), that one scene broke me.

Hi yeah... As a person who has read the novels, as a person who has MT as his number 1 anime. Sure I haven't watched many of em, I haven't watched Anohana, but I want to now that you have portrayed such a liking to it... MT hit's different. I am a person that cried thrice (probably more) in the first episode of freiren. One of the best parts of MT(The anime) were Rudeus's and Norn's relationship and how he undersells himself in helping Norn and how he still doesn't understand how important he is to the people around him... (Trust me, he still doesn't understand) I want to say this, if you genuinely feel this way... don't watch season three. It will have probably the most genuinely Heartwrenching part of MT that I have ever felt from the LNs. And I want to thank you, you made me realise why I like MT... Once again.

What made this anime mid for me is the overall boring presentation of actions scenes. A lot of op characters just worked cause the fighting scenes where over the top. This is is the exact opposite Everything is just boring apart from the lake scene...

it falls the fuck off a cliff the second they go past where the manga is. zhe manga did add lot of visual comed and ideas to the novell, and the anime team did fuck all to try match up to that. i sorry fot the swearing but i was hopeful.

It doesnt need to be perfect but I quite like it. Its consistently solid and I enjoyed s2 for the moments he tried to play human and almost had enough of it to side with demons. Now it seems he wants to see everything burning and we know he just need to say a word. Remember Shield hero or Overlord .. promising beginning but so disapointing later on -> I prefer consistency.

I watched it as it came out and in one go a few days ago. I have to say, watching it in one go was really fun and the pacing was great, but if you only watched one episode each week than yeah, really annoying. Some animes biggest weakness/enemy is the 20-minute weekly release schedule.

The web novel builds up the ending fights more and you care about the characters more but I just assume theres a lot of compromises that need to be made when adapting 40 something chapters into 25 episodes. Even animes like mushoku tensei feels rushed because of how much they had to adapt into 25 episodes. im probaly just glazing the tsuki web novel tho
