He had complications after surgery to fix bloat. It's only about a 50% survival rate and he just didn't make it.

The dog is playful but also very intelligent. She knows she needs to keep actual contact to a minimum so she doesn't accidentally hurt her little sister. This video came out 10 years ago, hope the pooch is doing well, although she probably isn't as energetic as she used to be...

great baby sitter. I sold a pup once that a family said there baby just a toddler had gotten out of his pen and was almost down by the road. Everyone went bonkers looking for the baby thinking each was watching him. The doberman had the baby by the back of his diaper bringing him back to the group. That dog got so much praise that day and made me happy to have given it a great home. I rehomed dobermans for people.
