Thank you SO much. So now I'm running into the issue with, if this is in place of the chalkboard, do you happen to have one that does the "Guilty"?

So what we have done for shows is projected this on a wall on the stage or on a spot where the chalkboard is going to go. I have used powerpoint as a simple way to start the animation with a fade in from black on one click at the start of the scene, click again to start playing the video, and then a final click to fade to black at the end of the scene. Fiting it to the space where it will go requires adjusting and locking your projector into its spot, and then the video can be adjusted in size inside powerpoint. Thats the most basic way to run it without any expensive software. The video can be downloaded using any youtube to mp4 download service.

I used Microsoft paint to do the outline since it is easiest to draw the lines and have it almost full screen. I marked the location I projected from with some spray paint so I could set back up there in the same spot a month later after building the animation. For the animation, I used Photoshop (to make the layers of the house using various textures) and Adobe After Effects. The rest was compiled into Adobe Premier to add the music and sound effects. I dont have the projector info on hand, but I would like to get a better one for shorter wider throws. I had to set up across the street and it still didnt cover the whole house, My garage is essentially a giant screen that I didnt get to use.

Forgot to mention it looks really good.

Its a kind of dark taupe color. I have to repair some stucco on my home and when I do I am going to repaint to a slightly lighter color Also I sprayed the windows with the fake snow to get them to project onto rather than reflect the light.

We get over 500 kids at our house and decided to make a float the last two years and take it to our local Halloween parade. That's what Jacks Nightmare if all about but we do a lot more at our home.
