This feature was added in winter update due to NHTSA collision police of USA, which found that autopilot is causing lot of accidents in US. Hence no car company can say no to NHTSA otherwise they can't sell cars in US. This is reason y the did. Nhtsa found abusive autopilot usage caused a lot of accidents

Owning a Tesla seems exhausting. Charging anxiety, quality control issues, insurance rates rising, FSD Jail etc.

It’s rather owning any car. It’s been rather reliable. Of course if you apply the standard of 0 issues then it’s not, but that’s not practical. Charging anxiety is a new one, haven't heard that one before 😂

@ChargeandDrive in Toronto, electrify Canada charging stations is usually not working or many is down and we only have 8 Tesla fast charger stations within the province of Ontario which is as large as Texas.

@dowhill1956 I have a plug-in and Hybrid Lexus. Pure EV will never fit my lifestyle. We love our road trips and Range anxiety will add to my already high levels of anxiety 😆

Yes, mostly frozen snow/ice. We had 60cm of snow in 48 hours in early December. This hasn’t happened in 50+ years. The barriers on the roof to hold snow from avalanches are built for typical snow falls in Bavaria which are much milder snow falls.
