I would really love to know if possible how you get the scale dimensions of your tanks??

@@BrianKruckow Sure! I first decide what tank I want to build and how big it is. Often the length is most important to know. I the try to find a 4-view drawing of the tank I want to make - often they can be found online. I then scale the drawing to 1/6 size using Photopea.com and use the drawing as template in FreeCad. Us a lot of reference images to see how stuff looks on the real thing. Often a 1/35 scale model, or picture of one being built, can be of much help.

Lite kul att det bara är knappt 4år mellan när den första KV-2 och den första Centurionvagnen rullade av sin respektive produktionsbana. KV-2an var förlegad redan efter två år i tjänst, Centurion var fortfarande i tjänst i moderniserade versioner 80 år senare! 😊

@@chuckcribbs3398 Yes, most are 1/6, except for the Korean BV206, which is in 1/4 and the S-tank in 1/5.

All these R/C tank models are incredible, but the strv-103 ("S"-tank) is a uniquely outstanding R/C tank model, with an actual gas turbine power plant, adjustable height suspension, & spent shell casing ejector, all like the full scale tank! Amazing craftsmanship of the builder of the R/C "S"-tank, & of the builders of all the other superb R/C tank models in the video!

@@abrampl I have three - my old Flashforge Finder 1 and two Finder 3. 🙂 The printing time so far has been long, but not ridiculously long (500 h maybe?), but I had to redo a lot of things because I used ASA for the first time and it took some learning.

There's a military museum 50 miles from my house. They offer rides in a M24 and an M36 for $200 dollars, They also have a class to learn how to drive them which includes a 10 minute drive for almost $1000 dollars for the M24, and almost $2000 dollars for the M36. I'll opt to ride in the open turret of the M36; it's my favorite WW-II TD.

That's a PBV 302, armoured personnel carrier/battle taxi. Made by Hägglunds in the 1960:s.
