Ian Fleming's book was the first novel I ever read, at a very young age. The film has nothing to do with Fleming's dark take. I remember that it had very cool pencil illustrations and a recipe in the back for fudge, that my Mother made for me. I seem to remember that the story included organized crime villains, and some pretty hairy situations for the protagonists. I opened this because the damn song was stuck in my head for some reason, unknown.

I always thought this lady was Julie Andrews. Apparently it was written for Julie Andrews but she just did the other musical movies and thought it best not to repeat similar roles. No wonder I was confused. 🤣🤣🤣

I’m watching the e blu ray and playing the Toot Sweet Toot’s Musical Maestro game. It’s where you have to follow along with the candies in the candy machine during the song. When the green light goes on, it means go. When it gets yellow, it means to hurry. And when it gets red, it means you ran out of time. This game is freakin’ too hard!dx
@caseymartin8047Ай бұрын
Actually it’s a few or several songs. I’m still playing the game.

Does any body remember the actual candy inspired by this? It was hard candy in the shape of a functioning whistle.

Personally I believe many people will always find Chitty Chitty Bang Bang inferior to The Sound Of Music storywise. But preformance wise this one has quite a few tunes that are ridiculous enough to overlook the plot.

Correction, this song is actually my favorite song from the whole movie of Chitty Chitty bang bang. I love this song a lot. Just listening to Dick Van Dyke as the father of these children,sing to them while sitting on the stairs is really sweet and cute. I really like this video a lot.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I keep wondering whether this interior is the actual interior of the cottage that was by the windmill (before it was demolished) or if it was done within Pinewood or any of the studios. It would be nice if someone knows.

Dick Van Dyke said in an interview that during the dancing scenes he broke his anke and pulled cartilige in his knee. Even through that he mentioned he didn't notice till the doctor told him. Man the guy is a trooper
