If you want a commuter just spend 1k-2k on a 650 deauville - shaft drive, miserly on fuel and maintenance costs, and comfortable too - all things this bike is trying to reinvent only not as good.

I wasn't lucky enough to have a direstricted fizzy instead i had a brand new y plate Ar50 and my mate on his Fizzy used to leave me behind in a beautiful haze of 2 stroke smoke.

Had one in white. Wrote mainframe off in an accident. Thankfully under insurance got new frame imported and rebuilt back on the road in 3 months. Loved it.

@@Noony79 no Ducati has ever been as reliable as the worse jap bike. Including the v2 they just are not reliable, ask any mechanic that works on multi brand bikes. It is just plain fact no matter what you think Ducati is finicky Italian bike period. Every one ever made and sold for street are not in the same class as Japanese bikes for reliable not my opinion but fact by amount of issues they have due to design and manufacturing history

I have a Ducati 900ss supersport with white frame from 1992, in 1993 no white frames were produced.....check your info and check the frame number mate...

It is quite possible that this bike was registered in 1993 but was a 1992 bike anyway this video is 4years old “mate” and this lovely bike sold and the current owner is delighted with it 👍

I was desperate for one of these as a 17 year old but unfortunately my budget would only extend to a GP125, which with some tuning was good for 90mph but lacked the cool factor.

It’s not a Carbon. It’s a HP4 Competition. The quick shifter is up through the gears only. You’ve missed its key features too.

Yes very nice bike, aside from the vibrating mirrors so you cant see what it is thats behind you. Triumph dont make these bikes any more.
