Great review man this honestly surprised me as i saw the trailer and it looked very bad but glad to hear that it was a decent watch i may take my son to watch this if he wants to watch a movie on the weekend since it appeals to all ages

I feel like picturehouse should close more than cineworld as nearly all films at picturehouse show at cineworld

aww this does sound like an adorable plot. I don't have any interest in seeing the movie, but I can totally give 6 minutes to listen to you talk about it. You definitely would have sold it to me in an alternate universe where I have kids and am looking for a fun family movie to go see! :D

Solid review man, I'll be honest, this isn't a film which I have had very high expectations for, as the trailers have not been doing anything for me personally, they are making this film out to be the most generic kids film ever, but it is interesting to hear that you actually enjoyed it enough. I am planning to check it out this weekend so I'll definitely go in open minded for this one. However, I have got to see Deadpool and wolverine first!!!!!!

I don't know it was trying to compete with movies like Garfield, Inside Out 2 or any other animated movie but I hope it did not cost alot to make this movie? This movie definitely will make my top ten of the year, it was everything I wanted and more. I can’t even accurately choose what scene was my favorite. Probably the opening scene or when Wolverine finally put on his mask 😮‍💨. Awesome review bro!

Yeah they are not the smartest with money. I can tell you alot of regals owned by them they don’t take care of their theaters. We had 3 and are down to 1. They’ve done nothing to fix it up. Broken seats, outdated kiosks, the theater banners on the outside that show what movies they are for each theater are broken and then the menu for 1-10 and 11-20 screens the listings of the movies on the board it’s broken. They just covered all those up with a big regal poster. It hasn’t been painted since it opened in 1999 so if you drive by during the day it looks like an abandoned building. The only thing they updated was five years ago they changed the carpet walking towards the different auditoriums. The sound and screens are way outdated. AMC is the best sound and screens I’ve experienced. To be fair the area is oversaturated with other theaters. From my work alone within 30 mins I have acesss to 1 regal 3 amcs 3 cinemarks

Its ashamed that some theater are closing down especially if it convenient for people who are close by. I remember I used to go to a theater every Friday and Saturday and tickets was like $2 or $3. Its show about 16 movies at a time and it was of course easy on the budget. But now, everything is so expensive and of course the cost of living. I dont know how much the cost of living is in UK, but Im pretty sure it quite expensive there also. I like your idea of how they can make things better. If things keep going up, then something got to give.

That is honestly such a shame that some locations are closing down, when i was in the UK a few weeks ago i visited a Cineworld to check out DM 4 and honestly was shocked at the ticket prices just so expensive even for child tickets but i think you have good points about the location and def lower the prices for snacks and tickets great video man

I think I can count on one hand how many times I’ve been into a Cineworld ( that’s just to do with Geography - no other reason )

Shame to hear this but does make sense with closing down dome when you have do many in duch a close proximity.

Been a member of @cineworld unlimited since 1999! One of the ones closing is one my locals (Glasgow parkhead) but my main one Glasgow silverburn Really hope they don't shut down totally.

I wonder if the two cinemas in the same city is an issue of competition? Like they don't really want the second location, but better to have a Cineworld there rather than a competitor? Just thinking out loud there. Film choice bothers me at my Cineworld. Deadpool had 14 showings on Sunday, and yet other films didn't open. Thelma for example. Surely Deadpool can have 12 showings, and something else can get a look in? A wider range of films should encourage more ticket sales. I was told recently that the movie selections are decided at head office. Local staff dont know of films will open. On that basis I wonder if a little more autonomy would help the business. Give local management more choice and freedom to open films, and run their own special seasons and events. That ownership might encourage local engagement better. Food prices are always an issue at the cinema. Apparently, my Cineworld has a very large number of Unlimited Card holders. And I would guess people who go as often as I do, don't buy food very often. Its cost prohibitive, but also the portion sizes are off too. I'd like to see single serving snacks available in lieu of the Unlimited discount. I dont want a pint of pespi and 150g of popcorn. But a 250ml drink and a lunchbox pack of popcorn, for a low price, would be something Id buy almost every visit.

I have a really local Cine world like we are talking 100 metres away that is gunna get closed down because they are building flats for immigrants 😒. They are also destroying malls and really old things for immigrants 😒.

Once again we pretty much agree on this one. I just finished watching for the first time after a recommendation from my brother, who claimed it’s near perfection. And seeing how Perez gave it that full 5 star rating, I was expecting something more than what we got here. You’re right…it didn’t need to be as convoluted as it was. It would have greatly benefited off of a very VERY simple action adventure story with a macguffin. But them throwing all this stuff in….eh….and then as much chemistry as I felt with the two leads, there was still something missing there for me as well, and I think the action took most of the focus, not allowing the characters to breathe and build that natural witty friendship to relationship, true love territory. Idk. Great review though, man. Kicking it out of the park

Although I don't have cineworld near me they have the best cinemas in all of uk from the best Imax imax laser to screen x never been but my fave being 4dx I go once or twice a year as over a hour from me sadly 😮😢

For me the best parts of this movie is the cameos. Hugh Jackman put in another great performance. I really liked the Wolverine costume. The movie had one too many slow motion scenes set to pop music. I also hate the fact that we didn’t get many scenes with characters from the past two Deadpool’s like his girlfriend.

Man I thought that was scarecrow from the batman movie. Getting prepared for halloween early eh.

I just want to add to the video in terms of the ticket prices section: When National Cinema day happens, they charge £3 per ticket for all movies AND it’s always packed! This could certainly attribute to the success in ticket & snack sales.

Been years since I've had a pinch of interest in a marvel release. I'm looking forward to this one certainly.

All Im gonna say is this. Top 5 movie of the year. This is the reason why people goes to movie to see movies like this. Classic performance from everyone around. Tons of easter eggs and straight up bloody, gore and rated r material. Definitely did not hold anything back.

I just binge watched Deadpool 1 & 2 for the first time yesterday, absolutely loved it! Can’t wait to see number 3 🥰 So pleased you didn’t put any spoilers!

I agree 4/5. Was a blast, I may well go again and try the 3d version. Paid a bit too much attention to the Easter egg / cameo/ fan flick stuff though, whilst much of it was great, there was much of it. I had a few questions that may veer into spoiler territory, so I'll leave them for another time. But defo felt like an event, and reminded me there is something cool about a big Marvel film coming out
