I have the same scooter, and I'm looking to install an aftermarket exhaust for fun. If the exhaust ups the airflow would I need to remap the EFI system? Just realising now that it might be a tough project.

@szimbazsununnu1088 7 ай бұрын
No. I never got one (probably should have). For a 150cc, a motorcycle/scooter a license is required in IL, but since the Laquan/george floyd backlashes, and cops-are-afraid-of-being-jailed-for-doing-their-job culture, Chicago and Mke police just aren't pulling people over as frequently as they used to... Also, this particular scooter is a rarity: baby blue color, cute round body, handsome overall appearance...it just doesn't _look_ much larger than a 50cc Zuma...

Nice video! I have been trying to decide if I even need the one I have but I kind of want to keep it after watching this but what is it really doing? The weight is one reason why I don’t want to keep it. And I don’t notice a major difference in sound noise. I had originally bought it to try to get rid of amp noise. Now I’m using a kemper mostly and all that noise seems to be taken care of.
@szimbazsununnu1088
@szimbazsununnu1088 3 ай бұрын
Thanks! I had the same observation as you- never noticed much of a difference. I bought this 1210 because of four reasons: 1, I'm an electronics geek, 2, for my analog recording studio, 3, it was one of those once-in-a-lifetime deals that you find on eBay (old man passed away...estate sale reseller...pristine condition!), and 4, I'm a fan of older Furman products back when they were made in either Greenbrae or Petaluma (not ch*na - I *loathe* that new..."stuff"). For amplifiers I also didn't hear much of a noise difference. The conclusion I've drawn is that this would be most effective for condenser mics, or especially a digital recording studio, since digital picks up e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. My recommendation to you: if you don't want something this big and *HEAVY*, then sell it, and replace it with a good isolation transformer (of which I own five). Where is your studio located?

300$! Fukc that, A set of Pirelli Diablo Rosso, on the wheels, is 120/130€, Bridgestone Battlax even less. Why would anyone want to pay 300$ for 2 scooter tyres? That's how much it costs to replace two tyres on my car, 225 Bridgestone Potenza, and goes well above 200km/h.

This will sound random, but do you have any information on this generator? I have the exact same one, bought mine from a friend of a friend 2 years ago. I think the brushes may be gone, but I can't find any information on the web. Do you know of any part sellers or where to find a manual online.

I bought it pre-owned at an estate sale in New Lenox (I think), IL in 2017. I tried to do research as well and I couldn't find anything. The owner's manual read that the company who assembled it was in Missouri. I might have photos of the owner's manual somewhere... The generator portion was Italian, and the engine was Japanese. If I had known this video would've gotten +21,000 views, I would've taken a LOT longer and more detailed video! Where are you located?

I know you are excited about your story about Gramps and all, but think about it, it would not be shipped with oil in it and if it was, you should have spent the dollar on new oil. You CL ad says Gramps paid $700 for which cannot be try unless he bought 2 since the box appears to say $349 on it, These were pretty cheap. Certainly rare to find something new and never used, but to compare, I bought a Coleman 1800W unit last year in a sealed box, Kawasaki engine (premium engine) that was 24 years old, the guy had the receipt to prove age (and it was $260 new), started first pull, perfect for $175. Good luck getting $350 for a 500W unit

You must be located in Shitcagoland, yeah? The city with a perpetual black cloud of badittudes looming over it? I got a list of corrections for ya', Grumps: 1. you spelled 'true' wrong 2. it was actually $900 (INFLATION ADJUSTED from $349 in 1985, genius). I was being modest (so pessimists like you wouldn't read the ad and go, "Shyeah right!!!") 3. I have never seen a generator (or snowblower, or mower, or car) shipped without oil 4. could you tell me where they sell oil in Shikaga for only a dollar? in 2020? 5. disagree about changing unused oil. I'd run it for at least, what, an hour? just to break it in first...? 6. they were never "pretty cheap". You are. 7. your Kawasaki-powered gen wasn't $260 new - it was nearly $400, in 1996 dollars. (hope engine is MIJ) 8. I don't need luck, but thanks. 9. Gen sold 4/2020 for $320 (I didn't have to go lower, but I did bc the buyer was serving our country - militarily). He wanted something that was unlike most generators - including yours: incredibly QUIET, easily liftable with one arm, and compact. It was a great experience: the colonel had a great attitude, and he even wants me to teach his kids music. Now see a psychologist to fix your badittude.

Great video. Ive had a stiletto deuce for over 10 yrs. Blown 1 main fuse and the foot switch never worked to begin with. Other than that its a great amp made in USA! I just buy those nice thick vented front 36" bbq grill covers, it covers the head and cab(1 half stack) perfectly for under 25.00 bucks and comes in multiple colors.
