Don't look like the tune helped for anything other than removing the top speed. My un-tuned G with long intakes and a full exhaust is faster. Why spend 1g on a tune, when you have no supporting mods?
@G37xMaN9 күн бұрын
That was the main reason why I got it. I also planned on doing full bolt on. However, life got in the way and I haven't been able to yet. Also, I did it because it's my car, my money, and I wanted to. I'm happy with my decision.

@@G37xMaNJust curious, how have you been able to get used to using the forklifting controls while driving and turning in different directions at the same time? I take my time with these stand up variants (I don't work really slow with them though) but have sort of wondered how people are able to operate fast with these. I guess years or months of experience?
@G37xMaNАй бұрын
Exactly that! Experience... I've been using these for about 6 hours a day, 6 days a week, for the last 4 years. It's muscle memory at this point, I really don't think much while I'm operating it.

Electric carts are fun, I used to go to k1 speed in Hawaii. The acceleration is so much better. These are still a blast though! Haven't been able to go for a while because of other priorities, which kinda sucks, but oh well.

Hi! I stumbeld upon your video and will try a short explanation for a compex problem ;-) 'So many trucks' has different reasons: One: specialized trucks, not every 'truck' has the same capabilitis - but all are needed. Two: Breathing air and physical labor. One bottle of air can be emptied in 20 minutes, after two bottles you're 'done' - it's hard, hard work - so you need more manpower. Three: Again manpower. One 'Truck' carries only 3-5 firefighters. Four: Water: One of the trucks in your video is a 'water-truck'. If you've got no hydrants - or the don't deliver enough - you need a constant delivery with such trucks the keep it floiwing, that takes at least 3-5 such 'water-trucks' alone. And last but not least: Five: Time. often fire departments have to drive quite a long way to get to the aid of local departments - if so, you tend to send them early if it looks like you may need them. Can't send every truck, you habe to be picky to keep an reserve for other calls that covers the area. That should be at least give you a little better insight and explanation - everything else depends one the type of call / situation on scene. ;-)
@G37xMaN3 ай бұрын
Appreciate the explanation that does all make sense. I'm aware how quick those air tanks go. I served on submarines for 12 years and since a fire on a submerged metal tube Is no bueno, we ran fire fighting simulations all the time. A lot of that other stuff I didn't know. What confused me the most was that there was no smoke or fire and all the trucks were there for no more than an hour. I dunno. Lol.

I don't actually understand what this achieves, is this getting stuff down to load onto a truck?
@G37xMaN5 ай бұрын
I run the dry grocery side of restaurant depot. The stuff I'm pulling down is basically put overstock that most stores keep in the back. Receiving runs out the product coming off the trucks. Then my team packs out product we need and I organize and store the excess in the steel. Then I gou through all the aisles dropping product as it runs out.

When you’re in a turn, I think it’s best to 1/4 steer the opposite way you’re turning, frequently through out the corner. It will help keep your cart straight and stop you from sliding out, it was also keep your momentum which results in holding steady speed and getting fast times.
