I mostly wanna Cruise and the roads are Pretty rough where I live. I have a size 8.0 board. Should i go with the mini OJ juices or the 60mm ?

Honestly SO relatable to me, I feel your process!. I've wanted to do this trick since it first appeared in the 90s (it was called the ollie blunt then), but learned it to rock-fakie, which I never really liked, but going to rock kind of derailed me. I haven't done a blunt-rock in probably 20+ years, because it seems lame, but have been feeling out the blunt fakie motions lately and think I'm ready to try and set one down. I'm going out into the garage now to see if tonight is the night I commit!

can't do it but seems to be one swift motion. Key seems to be quick in and out.

Nice one!! Maybe try it on the coping of a bank.. it helped me a lot to learn to manual back in instead of popping. Makes it a lot easier ;)

lol the blunt stall was the first curb trick i ever learned, man I put hours on a board and never got really good. I got good at other sports like boxing, and a bit of football when I was younger, but I couldn't figure out skating.

Trick seems like its 75% commitment and then just not slamming on your hip lol. Nice park encouragement and congrats on getting it

i think you’re right. if you have decent board control, can ollie, and rock-to-fakie, then i think it may be getting accustomed to the board/your feet being all the way on top of the deck but your weight still being in the ramp. after that it’s just commitment like you said.

I just bought a set a few days ago. They’re completely amazing on a set of Carver C5 trucks (look them up) where I use these exclusively in a couple of concrete basins in my neighborhood.
