DAMN RIGHT GENTS!! Medical Tyranny for profits and to cover up Fauci’s complicity in millions of deaths and economic destruction…and he is still out there trying to obfuscate. Those of us who can think for ourselves were held to be the backward hillbillies… but we were correct the whole fucking time. I feel vindicated for refusing the jab, and for telling everyone of the drones they needed to read the REAL science for themselves and not follow the politicians and tyrant doctors… yet now it’s like it never happened.

So I watched and as a physician and a Starting Strength enthusiast who lives in Texas and has attended SS seminars, I agree and have some thoughts. I think Rip is incorrect to say medical school is a trade school. Medical school is a hurdle to residency training - which IS definitely a medical trade school. Surgeons are carpenters, medical doctors are electricians, pediatricians are politicians and psychiatrists are magician/clowns - am I close? I think so. Imagine a situation where you are an actual electrician and people in your town count on you for your home wiring and electrical needs. They trust you. You know about residential and maybe even a few things about commercial or industrial electrical needs. Imagine a scenario where suddenly, the entire US grid goes down. People turn to their local electrician and ask what they should do. Most follow the state union guidelines and national represent recommendations - even if those recommendations are disastrously wrong or motivated by profits from solar companies - you can imagine. Some electricians, give decent advice to their local customers about how to get their gas generators going and how to keep cool in the summer, despite the grid down situation. Some go long into how to create bicycle powered generators and how to peddle your way cool in the summer. This was the COVID situation for physician tradesmen.

A degree doesn't mean crap. Critical thinking is what we need to be teaching the youth . How to think, not what to think. Also, history is very important. Not the false propaganda liberal professors pass off as history. But the true history of our nation and civilization is very important to know.
@alexanderbrown8498Күн бұрын
History degrees (which are one of the ones Mark ignorantly lambasts in this video) absolutely do teach critical thinking. They teach us how to analyse sources and decide for ourselves how accurate, trustworthy or biased they may be. It's taught me not to immediately believe what I read, and consider things from all angles to make an educated decision on where I think the truth actually lies (pun not intended). I don't appreciate this man telling me that I "don't know logic", purely based on the education I have chosen.
@user-dn4lg1dv5vКүн бұрын

I'm running the NLP for more than a month now it's been great, made good progress. But I don't see how it's possible to do the program 100% as it's described. E.g. I'm taking pretty much a week off now because I hurt my lower back during a deadlift (my form was bad so my fault). I'm also dealing with some shoulder injury from a while back. Like, maybe if someone does no sports at all and just focuses on NLP and sleeps and eats well and has near perfect form then it's doable... otherwise it's unrealistic. The example is provided in Pragmatic Programming is misleading I think you don't mention it in the book but I'm pretty sure that person had already high PRs from back in the day and it's much easier to get back to those numbers you already did in the past a opposed to totally new PRs... Anyways, SS and NLP has been the best programs I have ever attempted to execute.

im doing it perfectly but im unemployed and devote all my time to it. my advanced novice phase recently began with 320 squat and 365 deadlift. making 5 pound gains on my bench press still at 180 (ive always been weak upper body, but things are clicking now). ive added a bunch of accessories to make it possible. lying tricep extensions, dumbel curls, lat pull downs, fly machine; most recently added behind the neck presses and cable rows. now that i have a light day on advanced novice, i do calves quads and hams at the end of my light day, avoiding anything besides the light squats that touch my lower back (eg seated leg curls instead of prone). going to add abs in soon, then im hitting the whole body directly at somepoint. i also recommend knee sleeves, one powerlifting belt for squat/deadlift/press and another lighter belt for the power cleans, proper foot wear, wrist wraps if you need them and elbow sleeves if you need them. oh and straps so you can deadlift and not worry about grip. the deadlift is a terrible grip trainer anyway. i have yet to use elbow sleeves. the knee sleeves protect you from injuries on the squats, and the belts let you tolerate and prevent higher levels of lower back fatigue. just any gear that can lower fatigue and prevent injury is a must to get max results. i usually spend around 3 hours in the gym, and I dont rest very long between sets either!!! the problem with SS is that its both an EZ-PZ novice program that a senior citizen can do, but also the most back-breaking hardcore torture chamber when pushed to the max. its also impossible to quickly master the movements without a GOOD coach. its deceptively difficult, and a lot of people fail and then b**ch about it. not talking about you. and to be honest with you, after semi-mastering a lot of the movements, i think the blue book is lacking in how it teaches them. what it does teach, is correct for the most part, but it doesnt go into enough detail. and i doubt a SS coach would teach you them very well if thats the source material.

Nice recovery from that first surgery! I'm now 60, and was 59 when I had HTO done in late Jan. 2023, and late Mar. 2023. Vids on my channel, showing my recovery process. I'm glad I did it, and wish I could have had it done 20 or 30 years ago. It would have changed the course of my life! With the first leg, I had regrown the 18mm bone gap in 4 weeks. I was driving at 3 weeks, started walking at 4 weeks, and put the crutches away in the middle of week 5. From the start of week 6 to the end of week 7, I went back to training on my mountain bike, riding up and down the local peaks, on the same technical trails that I always train on. I ran in the parking lot, before going into the hospital for the surgery on my other leg. I healed that leg a week faster, at all stages, and ran at 4 weeks post op. I did not go to physical therapy. On June 1st, I started trail running again, and by mid-July, I was running up and down all 3 local peaks, 13.6mi and about 3,000' of vert, per run. I could do that every other day. In mid-August, celebrated my 60th by returning to the Grand Canyon and running my 11th Rim2Rim, as a marathon distance, by starting at the North Rim Lodge. I run these as cross-country runs; I don't use poles or walk. During the Fall, I raced 2 trail half marathons and ran a Rim2Rim as a speed run. I had my plates and screws removed in early Dec. 2023, and 3 weeks later, returned to running, on Jan 1, 2024. I celebrated 1 year post-op on the first leg, by returning to downhill skiing in late January, and skied 8 times in 2 months. Following ski season, I switched back to trail running and cross-training on the mountain bike, and returned to the Grand Canyon for another Rim2River run, and this one was also done at speed. I'm not training for the upcoming R2R's.

I was once sitting on a bench resting between sets and my eyes wandered around the gym. I spotted a guy getting ready to do a squat and noticed he had at least one more 45-plate one one side than the other. I ran over and got his attention just as he was about to unrack. I pointed to his plates and I will never forget the look of horror that appeared in his eyes.

It will happen eventually. I workout in my garage, and I remember a time when I squatted 225 x 5 as a warm up set, then after I loaded another plate, I was interrupted by my sweet little daughter coming outside. After that conversation, I went to squat it and thought WHAT THE ****. I had 3 plates on one side and 2 on the other. Thankfully, I was able to set it down without issue. This is why it's so important to do all these movements inside a rack with the safeties set appropriately - because these things happen.
