When filling water bottles from a faucet be sure not to fill from any attached hose. remove the hose and fill from the faucet itself. Most garden hoses are not food safe and imparts a very bad smell to the water.

When I lived in Berlin I worked 6 days per week 😓 so only made day trips around the area on a Sunday. I keep meaning to go back and do a cycle tour across Germany as it is a beautiful country, both scenery and architecture. And it has great cycling infrastructure. Thanks for this great video and reminder 🙂🚴♀️🏕👍

@@BetweenWheels Mine tend to be day trips at the moment. We're in the process of buying a small off-grid property in the south of France, which will make a good base for shorter trips. One day I hope to do a longer one.

We didn't make any bad experience. It's always very important to be respectful of the environment and not leave any traces, such as rubbish.

Greetings from Ireland. I wish I had the time to cycle through the whole of Germany. I love it. Have done holidays cycling the Moselle , Danube , parts of the Rhine & Lake Constance . If I loose my job tomorrow this itinerary looks great

I`m happy you enjoyed Hungary, especially blue taps, this unique, abundant and comfortable water-source I`ve never found in other countries I`m planning to visit Poland, Beskides as well as seashore. I learnt that you have no video from North-Poland, but if you can tell me some tips about that region, that would be great

Congrats for the beautiful video! I got a few questions: 1. How long did it take your trip? 2. How many Km did you cycle a day? 3. Did you keep track of your expenses? How inexpensive are Slovenia, Servia and Bosnia comparing to Germany?

Hello Ricardo, thanks! We are glad you liked the video. This trip took us around 3 Months. We cycled between 50 and 80 Km a day. Depending on how warm it was, elevation and if we visited any cities or attraction on this day. Groceries bought in shops like Lidl are quite cheap in Germany but for example hotels, restaurant and bars are much cheaper in Slovenia and Bosnia y Herzegvina. We only spent a few hours in Serbia so I can't really say much about that. I hope that helps! Are you planing a trip to Europe?

Hey, wonderful videos! 😍 I really need your help and/ or advice: I'll go a very similar route this year (starting August 1st) - what's your experience with wildcamping in Croatia along this way? I know it's forbidden, fines are high and it's said that they control it a lot. I cannot afford to spend every night at a camp, also don't wanna depend on it, what would be your advice? I love your videos! Especially of Poland because my grandparents, on my mom's side, came from there in the early 1900's. We had an opportunity to visit the South of Poland back in 2013. Well I am from Bosnia and Hercegovina/Mostar and I am very glad and proud that you filmed my country on such interesting and unusual way. You really saw how our people live, what they do and how they make fun. We here have a different kind of humor, some don't find it fun, but we simply don't care. We are fun, happy and proud people. No matter of civil war we had here 30 years ago, it's past times and let it stay so. I am also cyclist but I never make anything similar like you do. Wish you all the best, a lot of health and happines on your jurney.

How is border between hungary and serbia is it easy to acrossing when you are in bike ,, i mean if there is vitrification of papers?

Hi Yakoub, the border was very quiet and easy to cross. We had to show our passport but that was it. We were casually asked if we had any cigarettes on us but it was rather a joke since we were on the bikes and clearly not smokers :)

@@teccitv8613 we both hold an European password and can only tell you how it was from our perspective. Best is if you check the governmental sites of both countries just to make sure you know the regulationa to cross the border. There you should find all info on boardercrossings.

We used mainly maps.me and google maps. Sometimes it leaded us on strange ways though :) have fun this summer!

I heard you had some flooding in Southern Poland. That's like the French Cross. Carry a stick with you for checking how deep rivers are before crossing. You must love crossing rivers 7? When you know what happened to those people all over eastern Europe I rebuke those who have life easier now for complaining that they luckier than they know. Very nice picturesque place. Stay safe.

Thats a great tip with the stick! Thanks :) we didnt enjoy the crossing as much to be honest but kind of had to go through to avoid a big detour.
