Amazing setup! Love it! Absolutely perfect design and thought went into this! My only concern is your power system - the bus bars on your batteries are exposed and no fusing on each battery terminal. Most electrical fires on caravans and campers are caused by a dead short across the battery - thus not protected by any fuses or breakers. PLEASE cover it up so nothing metal stored in there can’t possibly sit across those two bars and cause a potentially fatal fire

Hi there, thanks for the encouragement! Maybe the video doesn't show it very well but the positive bus bar is well insulated to avoid dead shorting, as you say. This is our temporary battery solution as we are saving for some large capacity LiPo4 batteries coming soon!

question and apologies if it has been asked already, is the conduit running above all your batteries and solar converters, plumbing? seems a bit a risky if you have plumbing issue

Yes, it has been pointed out. Of course there could have been a more ideal design here. However, this is how it turned out. The drain is from the kitchen sink and honestly there is very low risk of it leaking, it's a sealed system and even if water does leak, its onto sealed batteries. The controllers and chargers are set back so they won't get wet at all. Overall probability of leaking low, over all risk of damage even lower 👍

The same as you, #3. I'm a huge procrastinator 😅. As a wife and mother this can cause a lot of anxiety for our husband's, buy they knew that when they married us🤣. Love the design and organization of your dream bus. God bless you sweet lady, you're definitely stronger and braver than me.

I really loved this video and by far my favorite bus conversion ever!!! You guys did an amazing job on the design and i would bet your kids are having the time of their lives. 8 people and one composting toilet in one bathroom. The bus is really nice and well organized.

The wees goes in a seperate part ( there is a urine diverter as part of the toilet structure) and ours is plumbed down into our big grey water tank so that’s a nonissue. And then for our family 2 are in nappies so 6 people using the composting toilet and James empties it roughly 1x a week 👌🏻👍🏻

Greetings from NZ! Batteries have held up great during summer, not so great during NZ winter, so an upgrade is definitely needed. We’re looking at LiPo4 batteries next but they sure are pricey. Also the solar panels could do with an upgrade as time and money allows. We can certainly survive with what we have and are parked with sure power during winter 👍🏻

Beati voi io non ho una casa vivo in Italia qui non c'è questa cultura vivere in un caravan pullman, mi piacerebbe tanto ma non ho soldi né un lavoro l'Italia è il quarto mondo in poche famiglie hanno la comodità di avere una casa. É sono persone ricche o che hanno un lavoro. Ma non vi fate incantare quando venite in Italia, la maggior parte delle persone non hanno niente, niente lavoro niente casa.

Nice conversion!! Withbwhat did you guys made the window covers? I used magnets but that doesn’t work that well..

Thanks! We used Velcro strips. I made the window coverings and sewed the fuzzy side of the Velcro onto the edges, then James glued the scratchy side of the Velcro into the window edges using a silicon based glue. Has to be silicon base otherwise it won’t adhere to the glass properly
