Can we discuss a new test of the valve in open foam but with the valve installed in the pulse detonation chamber it was designed for that has a pulsed pressure higher that atmospheric? I’ve never seen the simulation being ran in the proper format for use of the invention. It will yield very different results!

Hi, just to ask, so it’s unlikely to convert Fluent mesh (one-cell-thick block mesh) in open foam as axisymmetric mesh (pie shape) am I right? I’ve done research and came out w the utility makeAxialMesh but it seems not able to use in openfoam? Correct me if I’m wrong.

This is not a complete tutorial... You have edited some of the files in system and you have not shown what you have done. blockMeshDict for example has "upperWall", "lowerWall" and "frontAndBack", whereas our geometry has just wall. I have no idea what values to put in the matrices for wall. Running this setup throws errors. So this is another frustrating, incomplete OpenFOAM tutorial....
