Battlehawk told me "Please don't shoot this ammo" but I'll have to contact the manufacturer for a refund even though I purchased it from them. Zsr is obviously unreachable. So I'm pretty much stuck with it.

350$ sks is cheap? I've never payed over that. I payed 400$ even for a taco stock one converted to AK magd and 1000 of ammo couple years ago. Now they are 900-1200 on the private market.

I went out to shoot my m1a this afternoon. First time out with it. Using Ultramax ammunition that my dad had bought from Cabela's several years ago. 168 grain boat tail hollow point. The first round fired just as I believe to seem normal. The second round, Explosion! Catastrophic failure. The magazine blew apart with enough force to take a gouge out of my bench. How the remaining 8 rounds didn't detonate is beyond my understanding. The stock is, or was, the factory composite, and was split from the mag well all the way to the front. The force was enoug to bend the mag spring! Well, I've got all my fingers and both my eyeballs, and luckily didn't have my left arm under the magazine like my usual shooting position. I'll be contacting Cabela's and Springfield Armory in the morning. I hope Cabela's will help me out...

I like it. It would be great to see Eric run the training as an example of how to maximize the skills. A great add to the video would be a supply/shopping list for the gear box. The current comments seem to indicate industry professionals... the shopping list will broaden the appeal and also help with organic search results making the video visible to more people!

Performance on Demand training is a great way to identify what your strengths and weaknesses are and to see how your gear works for you and how it works against you. Shotgun is the last platform I would want to reload on the move. Would be cool to see more of this but with a different weapon platform.
