I switched from my Dewalt tough system to the Toughbuilt and plan on getting more as they come out...Already have 2-crates,2-large compartment boxes plus the 3 drawer unit and am getting another drawer unit along with several other totes

Cool idea but it’s too gimmicky and by having a direct mount it makes it a proprietary system and I don’t see that being usefull

It’s ehhhh, Milwaukee introducing the drawers as well as the side opening for the rolling packout. Back to the drawing board 🥱

I feel like I should have gone this route instead of buying into toughbuilt. They can’t get anything in stock, now I feel stuck.

Another trash proprietary socket system that would have absolutely zero use in todays flat rate tech system, honestly who ever came up with that idea knows nothing about the people who use their tools. As soon as I need to align a damn hole to stick in a pick or pocket screw driver to remove my socket, It would be tossed right in the trash. Seems like you guys made this because you lack in the electric impact market. All that system is doing is slowing down techs. I love you Ingersoll Rand, or at lest the old you. Stick to making long lasting affordable air tools that beginners, and veterans both love.

Well, its a way to pull customers more into your System. Like for example Bosch tried it with Xlock.. Kind of like LotR Sauron. One Battery to rule them all, One tool to find them, One accesories to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.

nothing new this has been the stranded in high rise building and big commercial. All of my 1.5 inch impacts are like this. it helps with the commercial stuff tho. Armstong made a lot of spline drive stuff back in the day its called % spline and you can still buy it.
@enragedgrandpa28896 күн бұрын
@@TinoR626 What are the pros to using sockets like that in your field? I just figured builders would have used the same stuff we use plus deeper sockets.
@TinoR6266 күн бұрын
@@enragedgrandpa2889 the biggest thign is torque, I have 1.5 and 2 inch anvils that have chipped and rounded off to the point they don't hold sockets. Unless I want to use a retaining ring and to be that's just dumb. a typical anvil only makes contact in 4 points, spline 5 is 14 points of contact.. there is a reason drivelines and axels have 26, 28, 31 splines and not just 4. You get not only do you get better torque transfer but you also have less issues with anvil wear. One of my gun saw a 30% jump in torque out put on the skidmore and to me that is a win. will i be switching over my 1/2 and smaller stuff for this no. there is a reason spline 5 was popular with the 3/8 stuff.
@chrismawson443020 күн бұрын
Why in the hell would there be more torque? Does it magically increase the size or power of the hammer? No?
@jorelljones569720 күн бұрын
Same way adapters can cause you to lose a bit of torque. One of those cases of technically correct, but in practice completely unnecessary
@wolfrig200021 күн бұрын
Not even remotely useful, my standard impact breaks the bolt off in the hole just fine without the extra 15% torque or fancy connection!
@enragedgrandpa288919 күн бұрын
Right? Hell, my 3/8 18v snap on would snap wheel studs. It's just a dumb gimmick from someone who knows nothing of the automotive/heavy repair field and looking to target newbies.

It’s a fun gadget, but honestly with all the time it takes to cover everything, you might as well just roll your space. The only times I’ve found these useful is for small furniture projects, outdoor projects and painting an empty space.

Up to 2 gallons? You mean it holds 2 gallons or 2 gallons before your battery runs out(depending on what size battery)?
