My 2003 Silverado 1500 4.8 has the same problem and it also does it every time I go between 75 to 80 miles per hour and I have already changed many parts that could possibly be the problem but the problem is still there,Any ideas and help would be great and thanks in advance

I'm at the same place some things will temporarily fix but seems to come back on my truck anyway, the only way mine work properly is if I'm pulling a trailer. I'm kind of at a lose other than to change the computer in the thing. Because on mine it's definitely electrical, if I'm driving and have no code but hook up a scan tool and erase codes (even though there is none) torque converter locks back up for about a mile then it'll unlock again. So still at a lose myself but if I find the solution I will definitely share.

@hollywd269
@hollywd269 3 ай бұрын
I had to go through harley to get the docking kit it was $55 which is kind of ridiculous but on the other hand you are relying on hardware that'll hold up to your passenger safety. But I managed to get the mounting plates at a swap meet in Baltimore, MD a few months back for $25. So not bad, they retail at Harley for $179.00. Not sure what area you live in but there is a swap meet this Saturday and Sunday April 13th and 14th at Harrisburg, pa at the farm show complex. And I'm sure you can find what you need on Ebay as well. Thanks for watching and hope you find what you need for you project.

2004 Silverado with 4.8L, exact same thing happening for 5 years. initially only at speeds over 70 mph, now it flashes intermittently at speeds over 50 mph. Had it into 3 shops, always been told the P00300 code is a soft code, no hard codes being set and no misfires, engine runs & idles super smooth. Chevy dealership stated ECU "could" be the culprit then charged me $350 for diagnostics, after I told them I wasn't interested in rolling the dice at a thousand dollars a pop when the truck is running fine. I'll have to check into the crank sensor swap for my 4.8L. Thanks for the video!

@hollywd269
@hollywd269 10 ай бұрын
Yes that definitely would've helped lol. These little trailers take a little getting use to. Years ago I ran a frameless dump for company and I try using that experience but it's way different lol. I think the biggest difference is the fact these tralers are so low to the ground and it's so hard to see the stone falling out, where the Simi is 3+ feet off the ground. But thanks for the comment and tip also watching the video. This one was just kind of thrown together and I will get footage of getting loaded next time.

The 5/8" allthread is ridiculously weak, ive seen sevral of these and all of them show that as the weak link, almost all the metal is soft steel, a ducktail i think its called would be better at putting tires back on the rim, the ag tires are a lot stiffer mine came via amazon It was about 93dgr outside that day and they sat outdoors in the sun for about 2 hours. I took both the hot tires out of the shipping box them seemed soft to me kinda strechey Probably would have been the best time to change them but at the time i didnt have the tool. My frt tires on my cub kept going flat and the weight of the tractor pulled the rubber off the bead I kept having to jack the tractor up and put a ratchet strap on them to seat the bead just to fill them up. You see where im going with this Let all the air out the tire and drive the tractor in a figure 8 untill the bead comes off, or put a 2x4 on one side of the rubber as a ramp and drive your truck up on it Thats gonna bust the bead for sure. With the rear hubs off it might be better using 1/2" or 3/4" black pipe as the center post maybe a pipe clamp type with a centering cone Then a long ducktali type pipe bar. Now this isnt going to fit the frt wheels not a 5/8" to 3/4" center hole but on small rims tire machines clamp the rim not the center. A lathe 3 or 4 jaw chuck might work better. Even drilling 4 holes outside the center for bolts you could later use for wheel weights. My oppion of this cheap tool is just that its a cheap pice of crap were forced to use because no one has made a better affordable option thats better.

I've been trying to find some knowledge or info on the most efficient and quickest way to unload minusil 5,10, tkpp, stpp etc. Different lighter products than cement. Definitely cant use top pressure and gets clogged very easy if you rush it.

When I hauled flyash, I would built up to 15psi and open my back pot and only use a little air then as the pressure would drop but flow was good I'd Crack open my other 2 pots about halfway to keep my pressure up. But that all hinged on how hard of a push to the silo it was

When you start to put the tire back on you need to use a small vice-grip, put it on the rim so the tire is below the vice-grip. That way the tire will not be able to pop back above the rim. I would also say the tire needs to be pushed down below the upper rim to give you a little more slack. This works for me. Hope it helps.

Sorry, I didn't see yor message till now and I'm sure you have already taken care of this issue. However no I wouldn't ever force anything especially on the brakes as you could damage the threads if everything is lined up all should go back together with ease. But as you see on the video I get a little force full but would never use a hammer to try to get a bolt started on the brake system. I hope you have got your issue solved! Again sorry for the delayed reply! Thanks for watching.

I've had mine for around 7 or so years now. The only thing I'll say negative about it is the the stops in the front of the frame to keep it from rolling when you load the bike on the lift will give out over time. Easy fix raise your lift up enough to slide a 2×4 board under where the front caster wheels are to lift them off the ground so the lift will not move as you ride your bike up onto the lift. Other than that it been a great lift thus far no issues. Thanks for watching and commenting
