That door worries me. If it's not rated for FEMA 361 and ICC 500 tornado tests, it won't help in a big tornado. There was a woman who died with a door like that in her shelter. It was a steel door with deadbolt and lock similar to the one in this vid. That little latch and deadbolt is not going to be enough.

None of you guys with these Murano videos show the technique to install the new filter in that undersized opening. Anyone can rip out the old one, in pieces if need be. The difficulty is installing the new one without destroying it. Quit jumping past the part people need to see ! I will add that the OEM Nissan filter is more compliant than a Bosch and will more easily contort for install. They couldnt have made this more difficult !

After watching a few of these and the difficulty, with an arthritic back and other issues I replaced mine with my credit card, paid the dealer to do it at the last oil change. Watched the tech do it through the viewing window. Even with the car at waist height on the lift, he struggled for ten minutes and when he finally got it out, threw it down in disgust. I felt like it was money well spent. Worst design ever.

@@ShamanjotSinghSarai-hz5nj My view on Religion: I am a Christian and believe the Bible to be the true word of God, that salvation (and assurance of spending eternity with God and all other believers) is available to all men and women if they do as the Bible clearly teaches…repent of your sins and trust in Jesus Christ alone as your personal savior. My view on God…we can only know a sliver of his attributes that he reveals to us in the Bible…what we do know is the “God” is really the “Godhead “…3 in 1…God the Father, Jesus the Son, And the Holy Spirit…all three are fully God. God is outside of his creation (heavens and earth) and yet in his creation in full control. God is omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient. Atheism…people that reject God and his free gift of eternal life. This religion rejects that God even exists. They will be amongst those cast into the Lake of Fire in the end where there will be eternal weeping and gnashing of teeth (probably because they are not only separated from God but deeply sorrowful that they rejected God in their earthly life, which sealed their fate). Mythology..:simply the imagination of man, which you saw from that video is only limited by imagination.

Changing spark plugs: how do you get to the plug that's on the left side of motor- does the top cover of the engine need to come off? Thanks

Correction re: 0:08 : the Murano / Z52 2015+ is third-generation, not 2nd. 1st Gen / Z50: 2003 - 2007, 2nd Gen / Z51: 2009 - 2014. It's a pain getting that new cabin filter in. 🙄

keep wiggling the filter in gently for the cover , come in at an extreme angle to latch it

I have a 2022 Nissan Murano and at 6'2 and 75 yrs old i thought maybe I can do this like the video. However, given the tight squeeze in the space allotted the more I tried to get at the filter the more I ended up pushing the filter further into its slot! Push came to shove I had to remove the glove compartment to get at the slot. Even though I did that it was still difficult to manuever in there but It did help. After a lot of effort finally got the sucker out and replaced the glove compartment. The glove compartment only had 6 torque head screws and the light cable. Given that it was terribly hot and humid when I did this I think I lost about 5 lbs in the process Lol. The filter was dirty after having the car for a year and a half. I replaced it at close to the 15000 mile mark. But yeah as you said a "pain in the butt". thanks for the video in any event. It was helpful. Thank you

Thank you for the video it really helped me through this process. It's not a bad job you have to take your time removing and installing the new one. Done in about 10 minutes. Lol I tried to reinstall the end cap and had it going backwards until i realized what I was doing. Turned it around and angle so hook would catch up at the top that you can't see and it went in with no issues. Thanks again!

The hinges are on the outside. Not too good for a panic room.

Tip: Oil Filter Removal. Get a CLEAR Solo cup. Use oil filter wrench to loosen filter slightly. Then, cover Oil Filter with clear Solo Cup and unscrew the filter by hand squeezing the Solo Cup. All of the oil will fill the solo cup and not drip everywhere. Then you can throw out the old one inside the solo cup. Makes for a cleaner removal.

is that the 7254v model i have that and mine has been acting up not responding green light only working when i push multiple buttons like f or aux changed the batteries three times and when i got the vehicle the horn dont respond and start neither the system was already in it

Anybody else getting parasitic drain from This viper, remote starter? The remote starter works just fine when there is battery power but I just bought this used Mitsubishi outlander and this remote starter seems to drain the battery overnight and then it won’t start in the morning. I disconnected the remote starter and it no longer drains the battery. Remote starter was installed back in 2016 by vision electronics (Canada) and I had a look at the fuse box, and it looks very complicated in there!

Check to see if it has a backup battery/siren.. it looks like a siren, but if the backup battery in it goes dead, it’ll drain your car battery quickly

Putting that black clip in is a night mare. I tried the deep angle approach but it won't catch I do see some of my plastic does there is broken and I think someone else got frustrated and broke it so I may not be able to to get mine in due to something I can't see being broken

Have you changed the spark plugs? The cylinder near the control unit appears difficult to access.

So what is your suggestion on whether to use a 10w30 oil intended specifically for a motorcycle (scooter) vs. a standard 10w30 oil you would use in a car, such as Mobil1.

I only see 1 issue in case of an intruder.The door hinges are externally mounted.The hinge pins would be very easy to remove.On the other hand,if you weld them,you could be trapped in a tornado.Just my thoughts.Very nice job.

Thanks. I mention the hinges in the video…they are security hinges that interlock when closed so even if you got the hinge pins out the door could not be removed. Trapped but safe in a tornado is fine. I have food, water, phones, place to pee! No chance of flooding where I live. So we could hang out in there for a week pretty easy.

Not needed. It’s a security hinge, so even if someone removed the pin the door cannot be removed.
