I loved the screech owl! It's like the sound of my soul

I have a few that will swoop in and perch on a branch or the clothesline and basically just shout at me when I go outside in the morning, sometimes even just a few feet away haha. Lately they've been mimicking the robin's calls

I live in Tucson, and see many Anna’s and Costa’s hummingbirds year-round. We have other species, but those two seem to show up to my neighborhood the most. One of our hidden gems here is the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum, which is part museum and part zoo. It showcases the many plants and animals native to our ecosystem. My favorite exhibit at ASDM is the hummingbird aviary. But, simply walking the grounds will give you glimpses of wild hummingbirds who either live here or are migrating with the seasons.

Thank you so much for the free access to Be a Better Birder, I watched these videos back in 2022 when I first singed up to eBird, but I never saw the notification about this free access before and now that I'm watching these series again just for fun I get this surprise, thank you so much again.

Birducation! Please continue with these magnificent videos. The world desperately needs to learn about our environment in order to care enough to save the planet from our collective ignorance. Thank you.❤

Annoying birds. I can't stand them. Those of you who like listening to these disturbers of the peace are odd.

Can I follow other people's profiles to see my friends sightiongs and make it easier to add people to checklists that they were part of rather than having to remember or ask for their usernames to type in ievery time?

Miracle of evolution? God’s glory and God’s unique, creative abilities are clearly seen, yet never gets the glory he deserves. I don’t care how many billions of years you attach to evolution it still is not enough to produce evolutionary evidence. Clearly, we have a creator. God’s awesome creation is on full display, but the saddest thing all is those who souls are unsaved, will not get the wonderful privilege that God promises in his word that he will reveal all his mysteries to us. But those who love sin and hate God will be cast away from God forever their souls will perish in everlasting grief.

I absolutely love Merlin. When I think of all the years I’ve struggled to name birds from their call especially when my children were growing up. When I listen to a bird now and its name pops up I am awe struck. I keep exclaiming out loud what Merlin identifies. I think my outbursts are soon going to wear thin around my husband!! I was so inspired I have invested in a decent pair of binoculars. Georgie Rutland UK
