My Malaga '72 2002 was purchased on 5/31/1972 and is in my garage. The USA BMW color brochure had Nevada as an available color in 1972. Also, my research about Turkis metallic shows it was only available on all BMW models in 1973 and perhaps in early 1974. I have never seen a square tail light 2002 in Turkis, only '73 model roundies.

Ok nice , and I have a bmw 2002 from 71 the original color is nevada and is currently in my garage, maybe there are differences europe / usa ... which is sometimes the case with cars now too

Sieht klasse aus! Allerdings habe ich hinten rechts(um das Rücklicht) am Übergang zum hinteren Seitenteil den Eindruck, daß das irgendwie noch nicht richtig "smooth" ist. Wirkt etwas eingedellt. Ist aber vielleicht auch nur das Licht... Glückwunsch zu dem Projekt!

Is that a shop-vac with sander attachment or sander with shop-vac attachment ? or One-for-all garage sander? brand?
@Restorezone8 ай бұрын
This was honestly an in between solution ( the Ghibli is my vacuum cleaner for vacuuming cars ) , vacuum hose is way too thick is also not antistatic and clunky and I had to put a spacer to get on the sander , also I put an extra filter bag in the vacuum cleaner so the motors wouldn't break down from all that fine dust. The sander itself is way too heavy for this work , now I use a festool ctl mini vacuum cleaner with a mirka deros sander , you can also go for the festool sander is what you prefer yourself

soudal anti gravel, But to be honest , should I be able to do it again I would grab something that I can already color in that texture, will maybe do it again , As an example raptor liner has something like that

Very very nice work. I wish you would have shown if you adjusted the door gaps after you put the doors on.
@Restorezone Жыл бұрын
I find the easiest way is to screw the bolt in from the inside, and just tighten it until it just touches the door. And then tighten very lightly, so that you can move the door up and down with minimum force. Then close the door carefully" be careful not to hit the fender" once the door is closed and then look at the seams, open the door halfway and slide it up and down to the position you want and check again, a video about this will seem a bit boring, this is fitting work, and it is a lot of opening and closing until you get the desired result. good luck and be patient :)

One more tip for those who bother to scroll down and give the video a like or write a comment ... I really appreciate it ... So the tip is, afterwards don't forget to hang your " Sound Deadening Pad " back once you are done. If you don't want the " WOoooong " when you close the door , you're welcome 🫡 😄 👍
