Not necessary really , inside the bonnet at either side is a small plunger on a cable that releases the surround n pops out the light , thank me later 👋🏻

You could have turn the wheel all the way to right but sure make the process even longer if you want

Thank you. I did it this way as my wife had just had a collision, as can be seen from the missing part of the valance. I was able to check other bits and pieces, but I would probably have done it this way anyway as it gave me lots of room, thank you for your comment.

Same with the Renault megane that u had to take wheel off, remove the lining just to get to the headlights/indicators, whereas another car u just open the bonnet/hood and twist off the bulb holder!

Why don’t you remove the headlight lenses and replace it that way?

Hi Mark, sorry about the delay, I somehow missed your comment. The PRC 320 has a BNC connector on the back, where the "Dog Bone" joins the tuner with the Transceiver, just pop the other end of the coax onto the socket and job done. Thank you for watching.......

That's a very neat job, old hobbit, I specially like the 3 way panel with the USB, volt meter and cigarette lighter socket. I see you have abandoned the traditional cotton wax lacing of the wiring in favour of the new-fangled zip-ties! That's what I would do too. :)
