Quitting drinking during vacation may be okay for some people but surely not if you're physically dependent to alcohol.

The problem is not what people think, I can care less. The problem is escaping the temptation of wanting to drink!!

Serious question. I'm curious if this clinician [sober coach] 1. Has any real life experience with being addicted, sought out treatment, attended treatment, completed treatment, and proceeded to rehabilitate their mind and body and their life? 2. Or is this the clinician that learned at a university, or classroom? In other words this person learned about addiction recovery and treatment Theory and Concepts?

I'm a server for two decades. Alcoholism and my emotional wounds and insecurities red meat to being homeless. Not to be disrespectful, but I cannot relate to this class leaders tactic and methods. Obviously my thoughts and opinions on myself and some people in her coaching sessions might benefit greatly

❤I absolutely love everything you are doing in every way! I would like to let you know, although maybe you probably already know, when you promote Jennifer Lopez as quitting drinking, there are videos of her drinking and she also started her own alcohol line even though her husband has a situation with alcohol. The same goes for Matthew McConahey, not sure I spelled last name right, but these are two people that I have stopped admiring as I think there is enough alcohol in the world, we really do not need more! Lol😂😊

Ive found that having a routine is a bad thing. The reason I say this is because when you create a routine and then drink that routine becomes irrelevant. when withdrawals start you are nothing but anxious and depressed, and that is because of routine and you are depressed and anxious because you failed your routine. Us as alcoholics need to be spontaneous or else it becomes hellish.

The "wine has benefits" message has caused plenty of people who weren't heavy drinkers to become chronic drinkers especially women.

I think NA beverages still glamorize alcohol. The only reason I drank the stuff is because of the buzz. Why would I want to drink that stuff otherwise? There are plenty of things to drink that doesn't mimick alcohol.

My parents didn’t drink or do drugs. But!, they had violent tempers. Anyway, I’m done with two high intensity treatments. And one medium and one low intensity treatment and soon to be in out patient treatment. I’ve gone days and days without drinking. However, not a day went by without needing that fix! It turns out that the fix works great for awhile, but, Other things may become issues later. The pros and cons are right now and later. Dealing with mental illnesses is the base of it all.. you wake up in the morning, tormented by thoughts and they need’ to be removed. Not everyone is the same. I basically raised my daughter, myself.. she’s a non drinker at 21 years old. My parents were non drinkers. And I’m a drinker. So, this video can be true to an extent. Yet, it isn’t at the same time ❤ let’s keep trying to figure this out. We can’t stop. Great video ❤
