I feel for Jonathan Davies because as good as he was he’s not even the best Jonathan Davies to have played for Wales… but he’s a damn fine second best!

That's why Laumape didn't get a second run at the AB's. Too slow :)

Yes a great hero of the war but like another great hero Alan Turing, a tortured gay man who, unlike Turing who committed suicide, Paddy turned to alcoholism and self destructed. The journalist Mary Kenny documents how Paddy frequented gay bars in Dublin during the 50s.

In addition to for instance Gordon Brown & Mervyn Davies in ‘71 & Phil Bennett in ‘74 what about the likes of Teague & Dooley in ‘89 and Johnson in ‘93? Or did Rugby only start in 1995?

A lot didn't realise how fast he was. Had a lazy running style that seemed to be very efficient and effective. An unbelievable player who went somewhat unnoticed imo

I remember watching that happen live. An oaf of a man with zero skills takes out Doddie in clinical fashion and ends his tour. Heinous. Sickened me. RIP mr Weir
