AT 16:37 you mention Langford filling out early...I've heard it said that he played varsity baseball as a 7th grader and varsity football as an 8th grader. If so, that's a long time to get used to your body.

Houston does have a narrative of being terrible at home, but its not like they have a 30-60 record or anything. They are just a little under .500 at home.

To comment on the icing, all could have been avoided if Garcia just shut his mouth and took his base. Blame him over anyone on the Astros. He's the reason it all fell apart.

This is why Bochy is the Manager not you guys. If Semien bunts, then they walk Seager for the force. Then Evan Carter not even a rookie against Pressly with Jankowski? Pressure against Pressly? You dont take the bat out of Semien and Seagers hands.

Also true that cannot walk the guys at the bottom of the order. Maldonado needs to be an out.

Although an Astro fan, I will support whoever wins the series. I see a talented Texas team as well, but the vitriol aimed at the Astros gets old. Is it no wonder that they use it as fuel to win.

I am really glad both teams are good!

Gets old only if you are an Astros fan. Like a spouse who cheats and then says to spouse “why do you keep bringing it back up? I said I’m sorry!” The Astros team, players brought this all down on themselves for the reason of wanting that extra edge at all costs. Well this is the cost of making a mockery of the game you make a living with. In so doing they also spurn their own fans in the process. Sorry it gets old but to other teams affected and their fans, it won’t easily be forgotten much less forgiven.

Speaking as an Astros fan I think the Rangers are a really good team, you guys have some amazing pieces in Garcia, Carter, Seager, and Eovaldi and Montgomery. I was thrilled as an Astros fan to win that game, but I can see how crushing that had to be to lose that way. I'm in Houston, and my buddies in the DFW area didn't want to talk to me about it, so I didn't rub it in, cause they took the Game 5 loss so hard, lol. Look fellas, the series is NOT OVER. Every Astros fan remembers the 2019 World Series, where the road team won every game, so if that holds true here obviously it will be congrats to you guys. If the Astros can't shake their home funk and end up losing the next 2 games to the Rangers, it's their fault, they don't deserve to be in the WS if you can't close at home.

Just so you know, this is how most Astro fans are! We long time fans appreciate the game and the elevated play. Unfortunately with our success we have picked up bandwagon butt heads, but hey it does feel good to win. So for all the jerks you may have come across, apologies.

The Rangers are a talented team, but they're not very mature and are too emotional. The Astros have been there before, nothing shocks them, the moment is not too big. Garcia's infantile behavior cost them. The Astros are mentally and emotionally superior.

Just a fact check, the Astros left a bunch on base as well. What you saw is Post Season experience. The Rangers have that little mustard seed of doubt in the back of their minds. The Astros just know someone is going to get it done. It's all about confidence in the Post Season. The Astros get stronger as games progress. Never ever, ever think you have them under your thumb! Dynasty!

Don’t brag until after the deed is done.
@tommaxwell4298 ай бұрын
@@etamommyno brag, just my observation of many years of great teams. Pro sports are at such high levels that physical abilities seldom determine outcomes. Who was it that said, “On any given Sunday, the teams are pretty much equal from the neck down. What determines the outcome is what takes place from the neck up.” Or something like that! LOL! Never take a game for granted is sound advice. I don’t believe the Astros do. One doesn’t see any arrogance in their actions before, during, and after games. They just know how to take care of business and never give up. That might be a cliche, but if they are up 5 or down 5 they just keep playing as if they are going to win somehow. That confidence comes from experience, which the Astros have. Could they lose? Sure! But I don’t think they will. More importantly, the Astros don’t believe they will either. No brag, just fact!

I’ve been a rangers fan since 1988 and I thought they shouldn’t have celebrated with 1 game left in the season. Too much was on the line. The facts are losing the division meant the rangers who were a .500 team on the road would have to face two of the best teams at home on the road to make the ALCS. Thank god they won the series against the Rays though but Baltimore is no joke. It would have been much easier path to the ALCS if they won the division. I understand wanting the celebrate though but trying to stay focused for 24hrs seems like the better play for a team that has been struggling as of the last week.
