I feel like all the magical girls had some of their power sealed off, so they look rougher as a result. Like Mami doesn’t have her ribbons and Sayaka can’t regenerate anymore.

No, no not really… 💀 Kyoko’s front hairs are more annoyingly pokey and edgy. Mami’s top looks very different from her OG design. The new style makes her appear younger than it did in the OG style. But again, this is all just my little nit-pick on it. I’m sure the film will compensate for the sudden re-designs. ^^
