The music video for Zutomayo's "DARKEN" and episode 10 of Happy Sugar Life. As for the last two segments which are live-action BTW, they come from the live-action Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead film on Netflix and a CNN report from September 2013 of young men from Minneapolis (mainly the established Somali immigrant community in the city with some white folks thrown in the mix) leaving for Somalia to fight for the al-Shabaab organization there.

I'm gonna to get this off my back so here we go. This logo combo is very personal to me; I will explain in a moment. On July 9, 2014, I was at my maternal grandparents' house when they had cable television back then. It was late at night, my father was in Kingston or Montego Bay (I guess), Nanny McPhee and The Big Bang was playing on Cartoon Network Latin America on their television at this time and I, being bored, just walked into the room of my aunt Alpha, where there was a 2-bed bunker and my older cousin Adrian was on the top bunker, watching on his red HP laptop an obscure 2007 anime named Myself ; Yourself via illegal uploads on KZfaq, which, as of this writing, still somehow are present. He was halfway into episode 8, but somehow, myself being young, knowing nothing about anime having seen kid-oriented fare such as Pokémon, Bakugan: Battle Brawlers, Dragon Ball Z and Pokémon and having my first taste of the otaku side with Bleach and Fairy Tail, honestly that experience I had when I joined Adrian in watching Myself ; Yourself _nearly late_ gave me a honest taste of the well-known mature side of anime. Up until that point I had been watching Western cartoon series from the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe and Australia on Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Nicktoons, Disney Channel and Disney XD as well as local networks Television Jamaica and CVM Television on linear television as well as on Internet piracy sites. Myself ; Yourself, with its dark plot (one female character witnesses a violent altercation between her parents which leads to an arson murder-suicide which she has to save herself from by jumping out the window with only her violin on her side only to fall on the ground and break her fucking leg; another female character had feelings to _yet_ another female character and confessed them to her only for _that_ character to turn them down, causing her to have (unfounded) feelings of hatred towards her but forces herself to defend her when she is ambushed by an pneumonia-stricked knife-wielding old woman who they are visiting at a hospital only for herself to be attacked in the process) and themes (suicide, PTSD), _fucking_ captivated me and I had just reached episode 11 when Dad had come behind the gate to pick me up and drive me home. I was unhappy and burst into tears, and Adrian had to comfort me and tell me I could watch the rest of the series at home. Last month, though, I had received a ban from using the computer for swearing in the backyard of the same house where my passion for anime as a whole, which has gone on for 10 years, began nearly around this time. I was still crying for not being able to finish Myself ; Yourself with Adrian when I reached home. Mom saw me and asked why, and I said it was due to the death of some British actor named James Lamont. It fucking turns out James Lamont was some writer for Funny or Die and I had actually misremembered *Bob Hoskins* as James Lamont. Still, somehow, I have moved on and managed to finish Myself ; Yourself on my own. The next anime - and the first I checked out on my own - was Clannad, and I saw that infamous scene in the second season After Story where Nagisa dies after giving birth to Ushio due to her illness. I have seen many anime between Myself ; Yourself and Clannad and after those two shows, and even gotten into reading manga. Honestly, as I myself have been disillusioned with cartoons (my feelings about terrible episodes of Western television animation such as "Ponyville Confidential" of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic which has a cruel and mean-spirited third act and the poorly planned serialized season 20 of South Park, and the following episodes leading up to "Deep Learning" in season 26, have contributed heavily to it), I also have been disillusioned with anime as a whole since July 2019. For one, I do not like how the anime industry works. In my opinion, adapting manga and light novels into a 12-episode season (and later turning _that_ into two and then _three_ once it is successful in DVD and Blu-ray seasons) that adapts like the first 2-5 volumes of its source material and airing it on linear television via late-night timeslots on commercial television networks TV Tokyo, TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting System), Fuji TV, Nippon TV, TV Asahi, MBS and Tokyo MX/JAITS as well as the non-commercial national public broadcaster NHK to advertise its fucking source material (luckily, not the case for anime adaptations that air first on NHK, which is constitutionally commercial-free as the *RULE*) is not enough, even when the source material is partially translated to English, or not at all! I know anime has grown from being a ridiculed art form to a global phenomenon with the rise of Crunchyroll and Internet streaming outside their native Japan, but manga, which are Japanese comics and make up the basis for most anime, at least deserve the same fucking treatment _but_ greater. That explains why I have been recently watching animated short films from all around the world such as the United States, Canada, France, the United Kingdom, Hungary, Russia, Estonia, Sweden, Japan, South Korea and Australia on KZfaq because they happen to have more artistic _merit_ than their feature-length television and theatrical film counterparts; no offense but we always have great animated feature films coming out every year from Studio Ghibli, Shinkai Makoto and Hosoda Mamoru in Japan, Cartoon Saloon in the Republic of Ireland, French animation studios and Pixar and DreamWorks Animation in the United States (though that latter studio's catalog is inconsistent in terms of critical reception). Growing up with animation, both cartoons and anime, though, has led me to seeking out comics, another art form based on drawing, although I am seeing some disillusionment in that as well with shitshows such as Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Double Down (the final pages) and a certain scene from a manga about autism (Japanese original: h-navi.jp/uploads/article_part/201705/132642/b853cded-bc95-4c03-b7e8-05b5f35e6ee9_l.png, English translation*: i.imgur.com/Md5ZKUI.jpeg ) and the scenes leading up to and following as a consequence of it, the latter which makes me _shudder_ everytime I have to revisit it be it in my mind, online or (has to happen yet) in a physical book copy. Still, I believe I can get over the disillusionment because I am fascinated by the appeals and aesthetic of both comics and animation, be it Western or Japanese, or even Chinese, and will let it influence my future work when I start working on them - and I have sometimes overcome that. Also, with Disney starting to lose relevance within young people and the animation community in general due to the rise of independent Internet animation in the 2020s with Helluva Boss and Glitch Productions, British claymation juggernaut Aardman Animations, anime in general into the mainstream with Crunchyroll, HIDIVE and Netflix (aforementioned) and the catalog of New York City-based distributor GKIDS (which includes Hosoda Mamoru, Studio Ghibli, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Cartoon Saloon and the aforementioned French animated features), I am also moving on from Disney, although I still hold their animation work (including Pixar's) in high regard, it's just that they are sticking to the same old story and don't want to take risks just so as to stay commercially viable. *The manga is named With the Light: Raising an Autistic Child, or 光とともに…〜自閉症児を抱えて〜 (Romanized: Hikari to Tomoni… ~Jiheishōji o Kakaete~), and it was written and illustrated by Tobe Keiko (1957-2010). It was serialized in Akita Shoten's For Mrs.' josei magazine from November 2000 to June 2010 (5 months after the creator died from mesothelioma at the hospital in January 2010) and was adapted into a 11-episode live-action drama series on Nippon TV that premiered on April 14, 2004, four days after I myself was born with autism like the focus character of the manga. It was licensed at its peak by Yen Press which published it into English-language omnibus volumes between 2007 and 2011. I heard one of Tobe's friends produced a volume finishing the story based on incomplete storyboards and released it in June 2016.

Fyi...in the book Farid is the one who gets mad at the orphanage Director (Zamann)and strangles him. Amir is the calmer one who stops Farid from killing Zaman. No harm done to the story but different is all....just helps the movie director keep that sense of privileged naive indignation on the foreigner...rather than the streetwise character that Farid was.

good that the film added and slightly changed this part as compared to the book. in the book, Amir only realized the need to bring Sohrab to the US much later, he has yet to think of that during his visit to the orphanage. but the change in the film was understandable in order for one glaring fact to be stated (which the book missed out), that taking one kid to the US so he can have a better life seemed an elitist act, while the rest of the children in the orphanage wouldn't have such a chance. though it also spells out that national liberation for a war-torn country like Afghanistan would ensure its kids and future generations would be safe, in their own homeland. rather than be uprooted to "safer, modern" states in the West

@@willonyourtv OK. You just surprised me after cutting off contact from me over my disgusting little secret. You were UNINTERESTED in working from Broken Saw, and then, you go to my latest video and write a comment indicating a change of mind? Well, I just notified Eric-the boss of Broken Saw also known as Pepsiman-of it with a screenshot of the comment. Anyways, tell me why you want to join this logo organization. Did you happen to see Broken Saw’s chiliads of film and television corporate identification/continuity videos offered through the main channel, The AVTB Archives (which hosts the organization’s Disney-related finds outside of 20th Century and Searchlight Pictures and TV/radio broadcast-related content) and The PBS-ST Archives (which hosts content from PBS, the public broadcast television network for the entire United States since 1970 replacing the outgoing NET, and their state affiliates)? If so, let me say the idea of joining Broken Saw was somehow still in your head after you turned down my offer in our first few conversations on Discord. Now, I happen to be a member of Broken Saw since May 2020 after LogosForTheWin’s unexpected termination on October 10, 2019-and an active one at that since April 9, 2022-and my logo submissions from that day on are mostly from festival selection foreign films (Berlin, Cannes, Venice, Rotterdam, Toronto, Sundance, New York, Tallinn Black Nights), French-language Canadian content produced in and outside of your home province of Québec, Israeli television programming and cinema, and also video games and anime. I won’t retire from logos-including Broken Saw itself-until summer 2024, and the way I do it, the exit will be permanent so I can pursue other interests, including film, which logos have led me to discovering a whole world of, which includes foreign-language auteur & American independent cinema-and I will never forget and regret owing to this fact and this fact alone. So, even though you are no longer willing to accept requests from me, just remember to introduce yourself to Eric and tell him about your work and willingness to submit to his organization, just never mention my ass-related (pygophile) secret because he never gives a fuck about the secret pastimes of any of his members, myself included.
