In Ohio here. Just got an '04 LTC Signature with 97K miles and zero rust. Can't be from around here. Just had the undercarriage coated with Fluid Film for salt protection. Absolutely love it. Was looking for a clean Crown Vic, or Grand Marquis when this fell into my lap.

Bought mine for 800$ with 116k miles really clean, Florida car so no rust at all no dents or scratches, it’s a 2001 Cartier edition interior in good condition just got some little creases from the sun since it doesn’t have any tint on the windows.

Up to $2000 just to replace actuators on these cars. Yes, HVAC problem is common thing on LTC. Water leaks also very common. Overall very poor quality even on cars with low milage

I bought a 2000 town car signature series with 77 thousand for 2500.. like new.. has 98 thousand miles on it now and I’m just changing the plugs on it..want to buy another one before too long.. the more I drive it the more I like it..

The Executive series was the lowest trim level! You’re gonna love the MPG!!!!! The leather they used in those cars was amazing! My mom (original owner) has an 04 Ultimate with 235k and her leather still looks great, I had a 14 SRX Premium collection, and the leather was total crap in comparison!

Just got my 98 ex on the road first thing I had to do was replace the manifold but other than that it runs great just over 190k

your car is great! I also have a Designer 2006 and I don't know if this model has incorporated remote start or not.. There is a device behind the rearview mirror, but I don't know what it is.

I hope you still have your Lincoln town car after you made this video. I have a mercury grand marquis I bought in October 2018 with only 18,000 miles from an old lady who was still alive but couldn’t drive anymore. The car is or was like new then and still is in immaculate shape. I’ll never sell it. Just bought a 2003 Lincoln town car with 94,000 miles. Had to do the front end suspension ball joints and control arms. Have the tires replaced with an alignment differential service. Eventually in the spring I’ll have to change the air conditioning dryer. But I would never sell this car either.

It truly drives like nothing else on the road today though you’re right. Just floating down the road so quiet inside. That would steering wheel the steering wheel radio controls through the cassette deck in the dash you could put six CDs into the changer and just drive for hours. Big heavy solid car feels great when you’re driving and it’s a big windstorm with rain. If you were in a Prius dude you would get blown all around the highway literally

Actually the gas mileage on this car is not bad at all. I’ve been getting 23 miles a gallon on the highway mostly and mixed driving between 20 and 22 miles a gallon. So dude don’t hesitate to take the car for a long highway ride along six hour trip somewhere in the country but you’re not gonna pay a lot in gas

Had a 2003 SIG low miles lots of repairs steering wheel will bind up transmission will shudder and fail 3500 not counting install car rusted very badly right down to the frame. Air ride failed thousands to fix just went with coil springs. Ride was no better than a Ford Touras which was OK WAS NO AC replaced the whole system and still no AC. turned out to be one of three sensors once found the AC fixed took years and thousands to find . Dealer worthless. Old Ford mechanic solved the problem. There was an Infinity sound system with sub woofer awesome sound and CD in dash and 6 in the trunk. 230 HP detuined front 5 liters to 4.6 to get better gas mileage 24 mpg at 55 mph not too bad. all and all was a very good looking in light parchment gold with all the extra chrome a real head Turner white interior Salt and sand kills everything here even when garages too close to the ocean J

Thanks for your opnion on the Lincoln Town Cars. I'm currently looking to find a TC or Mercury Gand marquis for myself. You can find some German cars within that budget, but for the parts? they are way more expensive. Your video is 3 years old so the budget went up a little higher but not by much. I'm finding out that a lot of younger people like yourself are driving these around and that's cool. It was either passed on from their grandfather or father as their first car even. It can also be that they are finding one out there used. That old saying "They Don't Make It Like This Anymore" is very true. Proof is in the pudding that they are still out there running.

275 a tire!! Lol good grief, mine were 680 a tire for Pilot Sport 4S 315's. I would never trust a tire for 275. A tire that cheap probably has a max speed rating of 120 and is not going to be able to hook up. I don't think so Tim

If you can find one in good condition they are nice cars but not without some issues. The intakes fail at about 90k or so and that's a bit expensive to get fixed. Water leaks, air bags fail, but all in all you might find a 2010/11 with low miles and at affordable problem. Watch out for that intake failure.

that cv has been very very very abused. i beat on my 2011 and it still runs like new at 200k. that motor on urs is toast. also cvpi will beat town car in a race all day

So weird. My 21 scat in valet mode drives totally normal but feels like it’s only 4 cyl. I could totally drive mine anywhere in valet mode.

I got a 92 Signiture series for 2800, with some decent wheels and stereo. 150k miles. Has some issues. Wasn’t maintained too great. At least recently. Decently cheap and easy to fix. Still hyped on it even if it’s got some issues.
