Hi I’m going to be competing for NAM Virginia in two weeks I love your NAM videos, are there any other tips you recommend for me this is my first pageant!

@@user-nh2xr1hv5e Hi! There is no secret to winning the crown, but I will say if you just be yourself and put the work in, you will get there! I will continue to make videos to help all of you out, but there are only so many tips that I have. Next I’ll share some about personal introduction and interviews. your videos are so helpful! back in june i had my first ever pageant and it was with NAM. ended up first runner up! i felt so much better going in with tips i picked up from you! also your so gorgeous, keep it up! ❤️

Hey, this is Hailee, I would love to hear your story, I am 13 and I have a lot of mental health issues and trauma. So I feel for you there girl! I also compete in the Al/ MS/LA state pageant. In the jr teen division, how do you get your scores back/ can u get your scores

@@mikaeli7466 Hi! You will need your formal wear gown, your interview outfit, and a pair of jean shorts (will receive a tee at check in). Of course you will need to bring outfits for rehearsals and if you are doing any optionals. Best of luck!!

you did so amazing !! i've been keeping up with your pageant vlogs and tips cause i am a state finalist for Pennsylvania and it makes me really nervous lol but for makeup and hair do you have to bring your own makeup artist to do your hair and makeup touch-ups there ?

@@nina.biella thank you so much! I found mine through facebook. She was already going to my state pageant then booked with her. You also do not necessarily need one. I’ve been doing NAM for 4 years and usually do my own. Best of luck!

fundraisers!!! Also ask local businesses. Give them something in return. For example, throughout my year of reign I promoted the businesses at appearances

Each state ranges depending on your director. It sounds so cliché but never give up! It took my three years and lots of hard work to win in the Teen Division. Stick with it and don’t compare yourself to others; rather focus on your own growth. Most importantly, BE YOURSELF!

Every year they will open up the applications on the NAM website. From there, you will get a call or email saying your in. You can also check through social medias if they have open calls in your state. This is where you go and they select you there!

Brenna! You have represented Louisiana so well for the past year! Never sell yourself short, you had such strong performances. Coming from a state queen who once upon a time wasn’t coached or styled professionally, I know exactly how you feel, but never sell yourself short because of what you’re lacking! Your competitions were so good and you have so many unique things to offer to a title because of all you’ve done to prepare yourself for pageants all on your own, it shows so many things about who you are and your determination!

You will do amazing! I’ve been involved in pageantry for 16 years and have been hooked ever since. Learning to be true to yourself and knowing you will lose some and you will win some is really my motivation to keep going. Remember to just have fun! At the end of the day, you are only competing against yourself. It even took me three years just to place in top 5 at NAM!

$480 is typically the sponsorship fee but on top of that you pay for your wardrobe, hotel, etc. Optionals are a different price. It can get quite pricy but ask local businesses to sponsor you!
