If you want a darker look at someone aspiring to be a children's entertainer. "Vulgar" is what you are looking for.

Ja should've been the rapper instead of Pras. Even though he only did the hook, it was way more engaging than Pras' verses.

i was just about to comment and i see my name and i made a comment 6 years ago, but i dont remember even watching this video. I came to say, I have a theory onwhy certain movies get so much heat. I think it has something to do with people wanted to imagine themselves as the protagonist and when that protagonist is a moron or something, it rubs them the wrong way. Fast and furious movies do all type of ridiculous bullshit and people love them. I think its because all the leads are hyper bad ass and confident. you take a jimmy fallon and how he acted in this movie and nobody would want to be him, so i'm thinking thats the where it comes from. I"m gonna look through some more hated movies and see if there is any similarities

Again, they all have names .. Anthony, red, 🙄 and they all meet the women, who also have names….you’re not very detailed in your accuracy to point out inaccuracies in film.

Again… the movie is NOT about Dori Miller, they mention him to add some truth, and they do hint at it because it’s racist that he can’t be a pilot… did u even watch the movie bruh?????

I came across this film in looking up Sage Stallone. My thought was that Sage seemed like a sad and confused young man. I have no idea who he was or how he thought but one can speculate that he did this out of rebellion for his father’s super stardom in large, big budget films. Sage, acting in this ultra violent, nihilistic, exercise is torture is putting the Stallone name in a pile of feces. I suppose the other interesting thing, is why would the film’s star, Kevin Gage, who worked with Robert De Niro and Al Pacino in great films like Heat, stoop to this level of crap? Then to find out he was a criminal who spent time in prison. Just seems like all involved in this film were in a weird, desperate place. The film is actually on KZfaq now. I watched the Sage Stallone opening scene. Pretty pathetically acted. I’m not sure why KZfaq allows a film like that on its website. Oh well, I won’t watch it.

I felt the same way about "The Grissom Gang". I'm astonished that they used to show it on TV in the "after school" time slot. I think the body count is somewhere near three dozen. I'm re-watching it now, and it strikes me that Scott Wilson's character is like the King of the Incels. It's clear he hasn't experienced a day of real love in his life. After he kisses Kim Darby for the first time, he breaks down and cries. (I hear what you're saying about the movie being more about them. Perhaps they felt it had already been done in "The Collector" with Terence Stamp and Samantha Eggar.) The irony is that he loves her more than the rich lout she was about to marry. The film is a remake of "No Orchids for Miss Blandish", which was based on a book of the same name. According to Wikipedia, "(James Hadley) Chase's pulp thriller became particularly popular with British soldiers, seamen and airmen during World War II. These servicemen enjoyed its risqué passages, which marked a new frontier of daringness in popular literature. Author and military historian Patrick Bishop has called 'No Orchids For Miss Blandish', 'perhaps the most widely-read book of the war'." Chase even wrote a sequel called "The Flesh of the Orchid", which is about the psycho and the socialite's grown, illegitimate daughter!

I think if it came out after 2012ish it would have done better, there's a certain negative vibe that people appreciate the humor of more in the past 10 years

I almost feel like whoever said this movie was bad didn't even see it. It's nowhere near as bad as they say, in fact it's a pretty decent flick! I feel the opening had bad pacing to get the story on, they could have spent a little more time with it so it didn't feel thrown together and rushed, but everything after Robin Williams' arrest was great. We've definitely had far, far worse movies since, many of them from the Disney lineup. 😂

100% sucks!. If only i didnt watch the 1998 Taxi. Is like Heaven and Earth, Polished Gold or Polished Turd. But it the end, you appreciate both as its shows in real life, you cant sell a green apple as a good yummy red apple.

This movie came out at the worst time sadly, it was made with that pre 9/11 cynicism and came out in March of 2002 people at that time were not ready for a dark comedy at least not at that time. Thing is there is an amazing movie in here if it was a bit more focused cut the cast in half, keep it focused on Edward Norton as he realizes that the world of children's media is soul crushing and keep Robin Williams as he spirals more and more into madness.
