Really enjoyed this video! Good to see you again, Randy! You have a beautiful daughter! It's been a long time since we moved irrigation pipe and ran windsprints against one another at the golf course. Best cold water I ever had was on those hot summer days at the course. Congratulations on your successes! I'm one of many Alliance residents who are very proud of you. God bless and continued good health to you! Ed McNulty.

I bought some supposedly healthy kefir recently and for the heck of it I read the label, especially after learning from Dr. Cate. Guess what?!?! Amongst the ingredients, it said vegetable oil added for taste. It's like one of those Fifties science fiction movies. Invasion of the vegetable oils.

Hi I've been eating keto for 10 days. I am going to do a test for fasting insulin to find out if i have pcos and other tests related to pcos. Should i go back to my old diet before i get tested? Is it going to give me a false test because i changed my diet ?

Hello Mam, I visited your YT Channel. Your content is very nice and interesting. I like it very much. You are regularly uploading videos with so much effort but your content does not have enough views, likes, comments. That is because your channel has several problems in your channel due to which the right audience is not coming to your channel. Your video needs some updating. Such as your SEO (16/100), ideally it should be( 70-90%) ,rank tags, video tags, description and tag volume, and attractive thumbnails that appear incomplete. Your channel's views and subscribers are very low. As a KZfaq SEO Expert if you want I can work for your channel for free for 2-3 days on a test basis. Then if you like my work you’ll hire me. Mam i have send you a mail, please check. Thanks.

As a physician myself, it really does the rest of us a disservice and undermines our relationships with our patients to say “doctors don’t learn nutrition” just because you didn’t. There is a heavy focus on food as medicine in many schools, and this is a growing trend. You can be heard and relevant without undermining the rest of us. I otherwise appreciate what you are saying but there seems to be a trend among physicians selling books of claiming to know secrets the rest of us do not. Statements such as the one made by Dr. Shanahan that physicians do not learn terms like oxidation or that fats oxidize, is patently false and frankly undermines you.

Unfortunately the majority of Doctors undermine themselves. Medicine is a victim of corporate capture by the pharmaceutical industry. Doctors are graduating from medical schools with out even a basic understanding of human physiology. The majority of non communicable disorders are the result of eating a non species specific diet. Just go carnivore and kiss your doctor goodbye.

17:00 Lol, my former PCP said I was the healthiest patient she had. She felt useless treating me. So she gave me a pre-hypertensive medication HCTZ and I became impotent from it. When I mentioned this to the nurse, she said that was a common problem. Lol, enough of that! I stopped the medicine. I need a DOC to keep me healthy, not make me sick!

Her recommendation of peanut oil and sesame oil is baffling. Both oils contain over 30% polyunsaturated fats and are high in omega 6. Also, lard is no longer a healthy fat. Lard has a high percentage of polyunsaturated fats due to their heavy soy and corn diet (monogastric animals like pigs and chickens can't convert these grains into saturated or monounsaturated fats). If the pig or chicken is pasture raised (no grains) then and only then are they safe and healthy to consume. Stick with ruminate meats instead.

I disagree somewhat, don't shun lard or pork, that is just Saladino talk, but put more effort in sourcing... Pork is one the only proper source of thiamine, vitamin B1. Plus Lard is a rich source of vitamin D3. And many Pacific tribes and cultures consider pork and lard to be longevity foods.... Atb
@SG-ji5ij

Exactly...sugar does not cause insulin resistance, especially unprocessed sugars (fruit). Polyunsaturated fats are the cause of insulin resistance and diabetes. Eliminate the polyunsaturated fats (vegetable/seed oils, nuts and seeds, pork fat and chicken fat) and these issues resolve themselves. That's why carnivore, keto, fruitarian etc all cure these issues.

have been on a carnivore/Keto diet for the last six months. I have been trying to get my wife to join me, but she tells me her dietitian tells her a ketogenic diet can lead to irreversible kidney damage… a ketogenic diet is dangerous for your kidneys and potentially other organs. Is there any truth to this?
@chazwyman

Ordinary levels of salt on your food can only raise BP by 2 points. IF your gut is healthy it will not absorb too much salt, and if your kidneys are healthy it will dump any excess salt in a short time.

I developed afib and my cardiologist put me on diltiazem and then possibly an ablation. Not one interest in diet. So I spent around 5 years with intermittent afib episodes, trusting the doctor who didn't have a clue how to cure my condition. I finally stumbled on a paper in pub med about L-arginine and taurine taken together, started doing that, and now, for around 6 months, I have never had even a single episode. NO fears of afib episodes at all. Totally stable heart rate...Cardiologists are currently literally injuring their patients with medications and their side effects and ablations when a few supplements and stopping caffeine and alcohol will create a cure. I just don't get it how such smart people in medicine can be so blind to the real cures. Big Pharma rules and it's ruining our health.

Dr. Means, with all due respect, the comment about eating what you kill is not something bad. It is the real world. There is nothing wrong with being paid for your expertise. Students go into specialities because they are more prestigious and they pay well. The prestige of being a specialist is a big driver. Personally i can't stand specialists as they have mismanaged my health care due to silo-ing and the family doctors, terrified to exercise their superpowers, defer to specialists all the time and they're basically symptom sorters who can prescribe drugs, so slightly better than Dr. Google. So many things specialists do can be done by family doctors, including care of pregnant women. I come from a long line of md specialists, who are up in arms that my son is going to be a family doctor...because he is so bright. Here is the problem with the doctors: smarter ones become specialists, dumber ones become family doctors. Frankly, family med is extremely difficult based on how much you need to know and the need to be able to put together the information. You need smarter people if you want good generalists. Patients notice how useless their family doctors are and go straight to specialists, not understanding how bad that actually is for their health. There are few medical situations where the specialists are the right ones from the start- like Ob-gyn. But headaches? It's not a trip to the neurologist immediately. Ditto weird skin tags are not a trip to the dermatologist and yet that's what we do. You sound like someone who would make a great family doctor. What a shame you were not given better advice in med school.

I just found you from a Dr. Ken Berry video. I was wondering if you could make a video about cervical dysplasia and if there are benefits from the carnivore diet to help with it. I have CIN 3 and my doctor told me I can wait and monitor it but risk it progressing to cancer or to get a hysterectomy. My LEEP had a clear endocervical margin, but ectocervical margin wasn't clear. I'm so torn about what to do but I'd love to know what you think especially regarding way diet, supplements, lifestyle can help it regress.

I really had to pause this video. Bariatric surgery is the reason I was able to change my lifestyle and mentality. I would have never changed my life around. I was educated on foods, and have continued my education, that’s why I’m watching this video. I don’t have PCOS. However I’m very fascinated by how food directly correlates to illness. Bariatric allowed my whole mental process to evolve by having to withdraw from the Americanized diet.
