To be honest, this team was as automatic as a Machine. Of course their legendary intense training programs paid off, especially in combination with living together for long stretches, and knowing/trusting each other like brothers. As a result they were so well oiled as a team, I honestly believe they indeed could have won a game against the '92 USA Dream Team. The crazy amount of talent in this group had it all to match them point per point. And as mentioned, they had played with each other for years, the DT members definitally hadn't and some of them were either already retired (Magic) or on the verge of retiring (Bird). But DT had prime MJ and Pippen, the American defense would no doubt have been the challenge of a lifetime for this Former Yugoslavia United Juggernaut! Petrovic and Jordan both were Wolves! Kukoc and Pippen the versatile do-it-all's Radja and Barkley both strong, quick and tenacious under the boards Danilovic and Mullin couldn't miss from deep even if they tried! Divac/Vrankovic and Ewing/Robinson the Big Guns! As far as Magic goes, every above mentioned Yugo player was a good to phenomenal passer in his own right!😮 That Divac dime at 8:25 🤯! And off course Zarko Paspalj and Larry Bird, the European and American Legends 🤟🤟! Both of them were my childhood Heroes 🔥🔥 PS: Realistically the team with the best bench and defense would win it however, so USA normally would win I think 7 or 8 out of 10 times.

This was awesome. Thank you! Dr J always carried himself with class. No chest thumping, no flexing, no taunting, and never having the need to announce that he was the best player in the world, like some players today.

This was who everyone wanted to be before there was a Jordan, Kobie, or Lebron. He started it all. I remember walking up to him during the half time of a Bullets game and asked for his autograph and there was a rule he couldn't give me autographs until after the game. I was so bummed but I got to talk with him and it was a great moment I can remember as a teen. I don't know if everyone appreciates this man for what he brought to the game but he was one of a kind in his time. Great and moving dedication to him. You deserve an award for putting this together.

Dr. J immortalized the game. He’s like a saint and has an aura that’s still captivating today. To me he is the greatest for what he has done for the game. Basketball without Julius Erving is like boxing without Muhammed Ali. His skills and athleticism is what made players thrive to be better. From his Air play we of course have Jordan, Pippen, Kobe, Drexler, and many more who emerged after. Unfortunately I can’t put Lebron in that category. It’s the beauty, finesse, and power that was handed to Jordan than Kobe. Before Julius? Elgin Baylor. Air players are unique and can only come once in awhile but Julius created Air players all in one generation. The 80s to mid 90s. Today we don’t have Air players like Dr. J and Jordan. The game gave up those plays for outside 3s and lackluster defense. God bless Dr. J

When Dr j entered the union, dissolving the aba his coach wanted him to distribute the ball and get all of his teammates involved not just scoring 50-80 points a game because thdd Aba was more streetball and 1 on 1 isolation, the NBA was more structured and strategy so he did just that ushering more players after him that would buy into the system.
