RTS is not popular nowdays, nowdays kids wants easy to control game, and i guess nowdays it didnt make much money with such small fan group which most is adult now and have less time to play.

a long while ago i had a somewhat successful (~70% winrate) drone-only rush in zvt on small maps, though this was in diamond. basically every terran would go for reaper openings, and i found a timing where i arrived with my drones just as the terran was building a refinery and a barracks, which gave me a numbers advantage in the straight-up fight. of course the terran could just regroup with all scvs and then i was screwed, but again, diamond ;)

It's an expensive upgrade that takes longer to cool down than stalkers and takes longer to research too. so pretty poor for a DT blink rush strat. but if you like using them, it's worth having if only to escape detection or pursuit easier. It was originally viewed by most as a waste of resources on a unit that is plenty useful without the upgrade for its intended use, but as seen here, shenanigans can make it more potent. And Yeah they decided mother ships recalling armies into hostile bases was a bit strong and not fun gameplay to watch Protoss sneak a mothership around the map while turtling at home, so decided to move recall to the Nexus on a global cool down to let Protoss not die to Zergling run by or terran drop play when trying to maintain map pressure.

"Pulling the boys" is a last ditch effort. There is no way to know who pulled the first boys. SCV's are great meat shields in a pitch and can repair!

Not just pylon, but barrack and bunker too. Start with two barracks and a depot. Then lift a barrack for high ground vision and fill the bunker. Build a factory while a barrack builds a tech lap. Swap the factory into the tech lan and you have tanks in front of a zerg that's on one base. They'll usually nydus out, so you gotta watch out for that. I think now, you have to watch out for ravager as well, back then, there was no ravager. Good time.

That isn't why they were removed at all, though. It was just 'cuz the design was pretty lame. If they're too powerful, you do this radical thing called... *balance* them.
