Is it really that bad to use your hands to get up off of the floor? I don't understand what is so bad about about it if you need that support

Well im 75, i still run 7-10 miles a week and play walk/run field hockey, i also row about2/3 times a week on my Concept Rower. I walk two dogs each day about 2 miles. I can do the Asian squat, but no way can i stand up using that method. I think it’s dangerous for many reasons, number one it could tear your meniscus. I like the other exercises thanks.

Can these exercises be safely done by persons who have had both hips and both knees replaced without the possibility of dislocating any of them?

These are great. I don't find the pain scale helpful though. What is a 4 to one person is a 10 to another.

I have thoracic scoliosis and for years have had this bit inbetween my shoulder blades, a constant niggling, like a little knot. I can crack it and within seconds it is back. I have been to see chiropractors and had acupuncture and the feeling it still there, constantly. I am trying very hard not to crack to see if this helps. I am not sure if it is my scoliosis causing it or if it this is something I have created by all the years of cracking. It is infuriating and no one seems to have any answers for me.

Your videos and advice are super helpful! I have a pinching muscle sensation in my groin and long lasting pain in my lower back for 3 years now, I think it's to do with my SL joint and hip flexors. I can go down the stairs but not up the stairs. Would you advise strengthening of SL and hip flexors to get rid of this terrifying pain? Many thanks.

The standard young guy error. The elderly often have knee damage, especially those who have been athletic. And, the moves shown hear will damage your knees if they're not already a problem.

already back on my feet after a few hours, mostly because of a storm i had to watch and help everyone to shelter with, but man, that first pop did NOT feel right, and immidiately i knew if i had sat down, i wouldnt have gotten back up, so i finished moving the king size mattress i had in hand, and then let the excoriation begin. all said, dont be afraid to ask for help, or even wait for help, i should have, now my job hunt has to wait a few days because im not bending over until i know that i wont get absolutely shocked with pain.

I saw that Kate Winslet held her breath for 7 minutes and 15 seconds in an underwater scene for the movie Avatar 2. I'm 75 years old and live at 4,500 ft elevation so I wanted to try it. I worked my way through all the Wim Hof breath holds and ended up holding my breath for 9 minutes. My oxygen saturation dropped to 76.

So what does it mean “before the pop” having stiff joints? Why does gas keep building up in the fluid? Does it mean I don’t have enough fluid??? I have to crack each, my neck, my back & my hip, 20 times every single day. I’m 28y/o &dying. (The cause is my teeth, but nobody will help me with the severe malocclusion that is destroying my life.) 😢 This is an excellent explanation of what I was looking for. *thumbs up the video btw* 👍

I did a yoga move where I balanced on my sit bones with my ankles up in the air with my hands helping hold my ankles up. I held here, move backwards to sitting on my sacrum. It popped and moved forward. It was great.

Thank you, from the bottom of my diaphragm!!! I've been told by so many people so many different ways to breath. It became all too confusing and stressful. Following the words of my naturopathic doc - which is pretty much how you describe it - you just give a few extra tips, which is great!!! Thanks, again!!!!🙂 And once my abdominal /intercostal nerve entrapment procedure is done, I expect to be breathing much better as well!!!
