Question: do you move the patch so you do not have a line of stitching in the middle of the hole? Thank you for a clear and concise video.
@XiaoxiaoYarn

Thanks for your question and the kind words about the video. :-) No, I don't move the patch to avoid a line of stitching in the middle of the hole. The stitches actually help reinforce the patch, providing additional strength to the repair.

I love this way of mending, I recently have been getting more into hand sewing (due to my clothes falling apart) and this has been super fun and it looks a lot nicer than trying to hide mends!

TY for sharing your beautiful work! Question: what is that square mat that you put under the project to iron it? What is that called? I want to buy one. Is that something you made or did you buy it at a craft store? Thanks again!!!

Such a beautiful video, thank you so much for your care and expertise. One question I have is what does this look like if you put it in the laundry or do you need to hand wash each item?

Hi. I’ve just found your video. One thing I didn’t understand. You say that the finish size of the rug is 13 by 25 and the that you are going to make the back 4 cm bigger. 21 by 33 ?? It should be 17 by 29 cm Thanks for your help ! I’m going to make it ☺️
@XiaoxiaoYarn
@XiaoxiaoYarn 12 күн бұрын
Hi, it's 4cm on each side, there are 4 sides in total. So 13+4*2 and 25+4*2, and it gives 21*33. :) Hope it helps.
