No it's not cheap, and it's not found at all in second-hand sales . You can still get a 1650 here for $100 or less. I've only seen the A2000 in our classifieds once and that was a $500 setup. For any older build with a processor without REsizebar support, the 1650 is the best choice. For $150 you can get an A380 , but that's just as crap as the 6400...for gaming a declared must have 8 gen and up with ReBAR suport :(((( I like to educate myself on what other graphics I should get to go with Haswells and Skylakes ...

the low profile ones should work great with the low profile 3050 too, its way less expensive than the quadro a2000

did you have to turn off secure boot in the bios menu first? i read you cant install anything that is off brand from the pc or it wont boot up. and you would get a black screen if you install a gpu that isnt the same brand as the pc. is your boot menu on legacy mode or uefi?

You are clearly doing something wrong. That card should easily beat the benchmarks of those other cards.

500$ for a low profile gpu is a lot

RTX A2000 is the best option in budget. I got it for $170 in used condition. For that money, its best and unbeatable. Power consumption is very important factor with PC. Heck, my TV consumes more power than my low profile PC. So getting a low profile card makes much more sense for casual gamers who want to enjoy games at 1080p. Extreme gamers can buy higher models. But RTX A2000 is sufficient for 1440p 60fps gaming with some tweaks.

Could you make a test in elden ring please? Edit: These benchmarks are really weird I'm running an rx 550 4gb with 16 gb in 1600 mhz in dual channel and I can run several games. My hypothesis is that this performance is caused by either the ram or the PCIe line. The optiplex 7010 supports PCIe 3.0 and this card according to NVidia is PCIe 4.0

I managed to get farther than you did on modding the bios, somehow, but it was weird. When I used the extraction tool it gave me an HDR file, and I worked with that. That had all the things in the guide and I was able to follow the steps as necessary, only I was never able to actually flash the bios because apparently Intel Management Engine is """unsupported""" on this machine..even though I've seen it work for other computers.

You dont need low profile if you have badget, 1650 low profile is better.

I would take a 70 series Opti over the 30 any day and don't know about the 50's. I do know that the speed of operations and data transfers are much faster. You should have used a 7040 to compare to the 5040 to make this believeable. The best of the bunch are the 7090's.

Do note that the RTX A2000 requires pcie 4.0 while the 1650 LP runs on 3.0 and will still perform good even on pcie 2.0
