You're not alone! My dance teacher made me understand that I wasn't the best fit as well 😂 I'm training in a dance conservatory with teenagers that are really good compared to me. She put me in the best level because of my age (training with 15/18 yo). Anyway, at the end of my 1st year she told me : I saw you registered for next year... don't you think it will be complicated for you with work and blablabla? I said no and I'm still taking her classes. I thought to myself: if you don't have the balls to tell me things directly, I won't just get it... This year was my 2nd year with her and I can see she tries to be encouraging sometimes. I'm taking adult beginner classes on top of that though and sometimes privates (yes, I really wanna be able to dance someday).

Fyi you carry your upper body really well... Especially as a beginner! That's something that even a lot of more trained dancers struggle with! ❤ I advise you to focus on your weaknesses the most, because what you're strong at, you can maintain. I always wish i would have doesn't more time working on my pirouettes 😢❤
