Yes, a large number of human beings can look great when they are all civilized and controllable. And even better when uncontrollable and unprofitable people are removed. Please help anyone, Allow more of anyone to come into your home land to stay and live.

I'm in Guangzhou too, and have done the first and second tests. My Chinese is really bad and I'm struggling with the instructions that I'll be given for test three, but I'll get there in time. My concernis for test number 4. Do you know if there is an option to do this in English, please? If it's Chinese only, I will be completely screwed!

Thanks for sharing your story, great video. back in the states, nothing has changed , same problems like guns, homelessness, drugs, government has spent all the money on wars all over the world instead of fixing our roads, higher pay for teachers, and all other problems. Happy you grew up in the most safest country in the world. 👍

Do you speak Cantonese?
@melah663Ай бұрын
Just remember this. In some European countries with a much smaller population, even if you married a local, there is no guarantee that the government will give you a greed card. I am disappointed that you have been leaving in Guangzhou for 24 years and yet you do not speak English with a Cantonese accent.

In addition to WeChat, Alipay is also available for payments, but it's not mandatory; you can certainly choose to pay in cash.

Hi Alysa, your video made me think of a really funny scene from the Chinese drama "一家人之名" where the main character He Zeqiu sees a Caucasian at a restaurant and tries to help him order food in English, only to hear him say, in perfect Chinese, "I'm from Sichuan. Please speak Chinese." Couldn't find the episode number (also not totally sure if it was Sichuan), but it was a fun scene. Haha. It was interesting because I think that is the only time I've seen a Chinese show portray a non-ethnic Chinese as a native Chinese speaker.
I don't know if you still live in China. If so, 加油.

Chinese government just change the rules for obtaining permanent residence making it easier for foreigners who have resided in China for many years. If you have obtained a work visa for at least 1 year twice consecutively then you will be able to apply for permanent residence.
@sempiro31333 ай бұрын
Sorry for my language, but this is a bullshit. It is as hard as it always was. And I have one. If you apply via Work Route you need to: 1) Tax paid, some amount, don't know the number but my friends who applied as well barely made it AFAIK. You need to earn about 40k rmb after tax to get there. 2) passport 3) income certificates from all companies for the past 5 years I think? (HUGE PAIN IN THE ASS) 4) business license (ALSO BIG PAIN) 5) some letter from the company explaining how cool you are to give you the GC (PAIN) 6) criminal record, your home country (It was a huge pain, since there was no Apostle in China, no there is, so a bit easier) 7) criminal record here in China (Easy) The same hard, or even harder to apply if you are going via Marriage Route (my route). Stop spreading misinformation please, all those news about how easy to get Chinese permanent residence, yet again - is complete bullshit. It is not easy, not in a slightest, never was, and most probably will never be. It is only easy if you are a Talent or some big figure for establishing 关系, then you can get GC almost hassle free within days (if not hours), yes.
@asiankitchen52943 ай бұрын
@@sempiro3133 you are mistaken. China just made an announcement to simplify all procedures to apply for permanent residence to those who have been offered a work visa for at least one year twice consecutively.

I wish you can get a five-star card as soon as possible; I believe the Chinese government will realize the need to increase or maintain the population, especially expatriates who are friendly to China and have lived in China for so long.

I just came across a youtuber The China Traveller who got his 5 Star Card (China Green Card). I remember that you expressed your frustration for you and your family in getting the 5 Star Card , maybe now is a great opportunity since your whole family has contributed and lived (parents and siblings) there for such a long time❤

好一个中外or 外中! I think 中外is more appropriate since ethnicity (DNA) is more significant than citizenship in China. (As compared to Chinese-American definition where citizenship is the last defining description).
