I watched a lot of videos and read forums and not one mentioned the lever. It's nice to know that there are people who know their stuff.

I tried using one of these pullers on a front axle shaft bearing, but theres a lip behind it to compensate the diameter of the cv axle, so the tool cant get behind the bearing. No parts store around me has a bearing tool to fit it. I made a puller myself to fit it, hammered my life away on it, and it's still there. No tool i could come up with has worked on it. Heating doesn't even help.

Adding a oil stabilizer reduces your additive package in your oil, the reason for the engine knock is because of a stablizer.

Great video! How well is the duplicolor vinyl paint holding up after 3 years? If you were to do this again, would you do anything differently? Thanks!!

It's good, everything held up still but the top of the door panels flaked off after a while from rain. I’ll have to do a 3yr review to show it. Thanks for watching!

Looks good. I think you should have gotten rid of that rust or at least put some converter on it. With just primer and Raptor, it’ll probably be a problem again at some point. Nice work overall. Edit: Man, I just noticed that you didn’t wear a respirator. Not a good choice. Please protect yourself better. That stuff is very poisonous.

Not a bad idea. It’s been about 3 years and still holding up great. Prep is the most important for sure.

Hey. I stumbled onto this post and wanted to see if you could tell me how you were able to order this color? I know it was a few years ago but when I contacted TCP they told me they couldn't help me. I provided them with the number on your can. Wondering if maybe I didn't communicate what I needed so they could provide me with the gunmetal pearl color. Thanks!

Yeah I called TCP and ordered PQ7 tintable bedliner tint/paint back in 2021. You may have to research other companies that sell it

Thanks for the run through. I have a different problem on my '06 LJ... One of my long-legged sons jammed the driver's seat back so far on the track it won't slide or lift forward. Wish he lived closer so I could give him the tools and have him pull the seat, cuz that is the only way I'm going to be able to get under there and hopefully free it up.🙄

Dammit.. I thought I could fix my TJ passenger seatbelt with this video - it does retract but it does not catch when I pull on it - but the whole cover is missing it doesn’t even have that little ball anymore!

11:51 I changed my calipers before and I used two rubber hoses cut off and placed over the upper and lower jaws of a pair of small needle nose vise grips to pinch the brake line and it doesn't damage the lines at all makes bleeding a little bit easier.

I have a 1999 TJ currently painted in PQ7 Gunmetal Pearl. I want to do the same as you and paint the same color with Raptor Liner. How many pints did f the base color did you use?
@franksgarage13
@franksgarage13 4 ай бұрын
Only needed one pint PQ7. Mix 3oz per bottle. Used 4 bottles for a total of 12oz of paint. I might have the other pint leftover if you want it, send me a message back.

Your hurting the engine at start up with that thick of oil the first number represents the thickness while cold running a 50W in the winter months is NOT a good idea The oil will not be able to make it's way through all the smaller oil ports in the engine as well

As shown here it is completely wrong. You should never add LUCAS straight, but always mix it with the engine oil beforehand and only then fill it in! is also recommended by the LUCAS company!
