I cannot find any information on how to dial in 19 fix 40 factory dh. Nothing about how to set the compression dials

SRAM does need to figure out letting users to completely power down when transporting bikes. I am beginning to aee adventages of wireless shifting (rented few wireless gravel bikes) and didn't agree with noise or feel, but battery drain is a big flaw. Wish they just added a switch to power down. Removing battery is a bit of risk of losing them. I am not sure about Di2 tho.

any given day of a cyclist 3.0: charge e-bike, charge smartphone, charge GPS, charge heart rate monitor chest strap, charge telescopic seat post, charge power meter, charge wheel pressure caps, charge lights, charge collision warning radar, disconnect WiFi smartphone in case the Ebike decides to update itself in marches, charge smart helmet for accident warning...

i upgraded from deore 3x9 to deore 1x12 with raceface chainring and 11-51 sunrace casette , looking at the parts its obvious it was for budget reasons and then i still have ppl asking me why didnt i just go with gx wireless , the gx wireless deraileur alone costs about as much as my entire drivetrain setup wich is absolutely wild (sram component pricing in south africa is insane)

I am surprised how few people have captured the issues he’s mentioning. 1. The cassette ratios feel way too wide for steep climbing. 2. Battery will die on a long road trip. Take it out for the drive. 3. Awful CLUNK when changing gears. 4. Chain slap. I have been pondering going to Shimano on my Supercaliber.

It is obious for me that cables have better feel, a total control and nice feeling, freedom without being chained to batteries, charging, water and weather... (Yes, come weather drain very quickly any battery). I never had desire to change from Shimano Ultegra to any electric powered groupset. With perfectly crafted TIME framset, it looks much better. I've never missed gear, or dropped chain ; ) What's the point? Progress? Better feel? Being trendy?

I use the SRAM Force AXS D2 all wireless setup with only brake lines. But my setup is a Cervelo P Series Triathlon rig so very different bike, but on a Tri setup i’ll never go back to cables.

My youngest son (27) is on a week-long work trip to WV. They were supposed to go fishing today on their day off, but instead I got a photo of his boss and him all geared up ready to ride Snowshoe! With all of us being from CO, I wanted to get an idea what the park was like and found this video. I agree with others - you did an outstanding job putting this video together. These trails look legit! Janky, chunky, and with fun features sprinkled in. Now I'm totally jealous!

I would be intrested if they could be wired up to the main ebike battery vs. having to keep up with charging seperate batteries. But then I suppose you would need cables to do that kind of defeating the purpose although those cables would be thinner and more flexable.
@Wofinet10 күн бұрын
My experience is it goes flat just sitting around. Ie if you charge your bike and leave it sit without touching it will still need charging

Just bought a norco and their ride aligned says 18 out LSC. Does that mean out from close or out from open? Also great video! Just subscribed!
@SemiSendy6 күн бұрын
That should mean out from closed if they are following conventional norms. I’d start there as a launching point and then start bracketing to see what feels best to you.

My favorite mountain bike saying is: “it’s not the bike, it’s the rider.” In my experience no matter how well you set up your bike it won’t change the way you ride. My friends bike is a 6000$ bike and even so, me on my 3000$ bike, I’ve been riding for less time than he has but practice much more, which pays off because I am a much better rider than he is.

Not with sram system but can happen i guess... something people dont talk about i had the archer components electronic shifter and after one season the motor burned in the trails and the chain went by itself to smallest cog stuck like that...cie said no warranty so i put back xtr shifter with the xtr derailleur shifts super good i feel safer cause easyer to fix in trails and i like the feel...

Even though this video is a year old now I would like to say as a mountain bike coach I am endlessly frustrated by my athletes and their dead shifter batteries. Many training sessions have to be altered because of this. Before each ride we always check the ABC's Now we have to check the AB "B" C's. And if you show up with dead batteries you go home...
@fdshybgv46twgs5ssrjufhfg-pf7lf29 күн бұрын
Having to check 8 batteries on a monthly basis is tiresome. 1. Speed sensor battery, 2. cadence sensor battery, 3. Etap rear derailleur battery, 4. Etap front derailleur battery, 5. left shifter battery, 6. right shifter battery, 7. Power meter battery, 8. Head unit battery Meanwhile on my mechanical bike I just pump up the tyres, oil the chain and if I feel like training I take my head unit.

I ride hardtail and fork set up have to be spot on, you feel everything that the trail giives you, i was trying less air more sag fast rebound but this theory makes sense, you can aplply this to a hardtail whit 150m fork? And what about rebound? You dont say nothing about it
@TheAngryHuskyАй бұрын
I went the opposite on pedals. I only rode flats for years, but once I got faster I started having trouble staying on them through chunk and due to the size of them I got a lot of pedal strikes. So I started practicing on clips. I had issues with the Shimano SPDs but then I switched to Crankbrothers and that’s all I run now.
@TheAngryHuskyАй бұрын
Welp. I literally have been chasing suppleness by lowering pressures for years and wondering why my fork felt so bad. I’m gonna give higher pressure a shot.
